You're Fired': IRS Blew $10K on 'Apprentice' Parody Video

Once again, the Internal Revenue Service is in hot water for spending an enormous amount of taxpayer dollars on training video meant for agency employees.

The House Ways and Means Committee exposed another IRS parody video, this one spoofing Donald Trump's "The Apprentice."

However, instead of spoofing Star Trek, federal employees decided to parody Donald Trump’s NBC reality show “The Apprentice," known for its "you're fired" catchphrase, the House Ways and Means Committee said Friday.

The cost: approximately $10,000.

Even more amazing is the fact that the video was apparently never shown to agency employees because the 2011 conference it was intended for was canceled, according to CBS News’ Sharyl Attkisson.

“Another day, another example of abuse and waste at the IRS,” Rep. Charles Boustany Jr. (R-La.), chairman of the oversight subcommittee for Ways and Means, said in a statement.

The IRS produced an "Apprentice"-style parody video.

The Louisiana congressman added that he’s still waiting on the IRS to provide him with a final tally of how many “training videos” have been made at the taxpayers’ expense.

The names of the IRS employees in the video have been redacted by the House Ways and Means Committee:
