James C. Humes is the author of Churchill: The Prophetic Statesman (Regnery Publishing 2012) and more than twenty other books, including Confessions of a White House Ghost Writer (Regnery Publishing) and the Pulitzer Prize-nominated Churchill: Speaker of the Century. He is a former presidential speechwriter who worked for Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford, and Dwight Eisenhower and a Visiting Historian at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. One of the last living Americans to have met Sir Winston Churchill in person, Mr. Humes has played Sir Churchill on stage and at numerous events.
