Video: Ford ad slams bailed-out competitors

This is AWESOME:

(I’m not sure if this is a new ad, per se. The YouTube account says it was released in May, but I haven’t see in aired on television yet, have you?)

I hope this ad campaign succeeds for Ford — not because I’m necessarily a fan of Ford Motors, but if for no other reason that it will prove that Americans still have a genuine appreciation and reverence for hard work. I still contend that we are not a nation built on bailouts, but of tugging on your own bootstraps. And when I go to buy a car in the future, the fact that other American car companies put their faith in the government instead of their own business and workers will affect my purchasing decision.

Well done, Ford.

I’ve seen this ad here in Texas. When we are ready to buy another vehicle, it will be a Ford, for sure!

We just bought a Ford Ranger truck for two reasons: (1) It is solid, well built and a quality product. AND (2) It is NOT a government motors [ G.M. or Chrysler ] bailout product. We’re both retired and work our parttime ” beat the Obama economy” jobs and paid cash, bailing ourselves out. U.S.A. – U.S.A. !

I just hope the Unions not drag them down, the unions can’t go after chev, and dodge because of the bailout

I really do hope this airs. They made the right call when they decided to go it on their own. They are not only to be commended for such action, but should reap the rewards for doing so.
