Ailes turned down Pawlenty for Fox News gig

Roger Ailes denies Tim Pawlenty job at Fox News

Poor Tim Pawlenty couldn’t catch a break if he jumped off the White House roof. He gained no traction in his presidential campaign, dropping out after finishing third in the Iowa straw poll, and now we learn even Fox News wouldn’t have him.

In a profile on Roger Ailes for “Newsweek,” the Fox News CEO said Pawlenty came to him for a job but Ailes turned him down. “I’m not sure I want to sign you as a paid spokesman for [Mitt] Romney,” Ailes said. Pawlenty endorsed Romney earlier this month.

The article also quotes Ailes on his re-branding of Fox (it’s deliberately steering more moderate), describes the inner-workings of a Fox executive meeting and delves into the preparation Fox’s anchors went into for the last debate (“Let [Newt Gingrich] be the crazy uncle in the attic if he wants to be,” Chris Wallace said before the debate.)

Yes, AttackWatch convinced Rupert and Fox to join bandwagon. Even Bill O noted illegal immigrant DUI relative was “HALF UNCLE” of Obama. Does that infer for immigration he is only half related? Or, does Fox mean racially he is only half black?
You also know never a true or kind word for Mitt Romney on Fox on orders from on high.

Yep. Fox steering more moderate has taken away some of my time spent on the channel.

It is fine that Fox stops hiring political hacks from the past, such as Howard Dean’s campaign manager.
Everyone already knew Fox was “going moderate” which was really shown by majority repetition of progressive, communist, socialist, and everything far left. Their lead offering is egomaniacal Bill O, who is only fawning over Obama to lap up leftovers of those who seek deity or sainthood. Who could be more liberal than Chris Wallace, Allan C, Jeraldo, Judge Jeannine, Beckel, Juan, etc. Their Business network is even worse farce. Just another fantasy by an old fool who wants to sell books and WSJ while trying to rival another deity in his own mind, Soros.

Going moderate is going to hurt Fox News and may also lose the election for ‘We The People’ in the process.
I knew something stunk when I saw that the fat blow-hard Bob Beckel was one of the hosts on the new program that took over for Glenn Becks 5:00 hour. I may stop there occasionally to see what they are discussing, but the moment that fat know-nothing speaks, I change over to Fox business channel.

Chris Wallace needs to do his homework. It’s not Newt that gives that impression to people, that turf is already claimed by Ron Paul.
