Politics A picture is worth 1,000 words: Obama traffic jam

From the LA Times:

A picture is worth 1,000 words: Obama traffic jam

President Obama’s fundraising swing through Los Angeles made for a tougher afternoon commute for some motorists on Monday.

The traffic problems were most intense in Hancock Park and Mid-City, with east-west commuters facing some delays. A portion of Wilshire Boulevard and adjacent 6th Street were shutdown for several hours, jamming other streets linking downtown and the Westside.

On top of that, Obama made an unscheduled stop at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles on Pico Boulevard. …

Obama attended two events that evening.

At an intimate fundraising dinner in Hancock Park, Obama spoke softly to a few dozen supporters who had paid $35,800 each to greet him.

Truly a worthy cause if there ever was one.

Does any one have a break out of what the city paid and the money that was raised. I would love to see that.

I watched him speak at the Democrat National Convention and knew immediately this was a dangerous man.

Anyone could have seen that he was chosen to be “The One”

Push an agenda to distroy agenda but hold a fundraiser in which a few dozon people show up at $35,800 a head all while traffic is being tied up by the motorcade of secret service only to make an unscheuled stop at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles and creating havoc for the secret service, commutors, and businesses alike. Wow! Obama had a busy day. I wonder how many businesses lost money as a result of this?

Something in the “CHiPs” cloning factory goes very, very, very wrong. But on the plus side it involves funky disco music.

During the Bush Presidency I did a security detail in conjunction with some Secret Service agents. It was interesting to hear their stories about President Bush and former Presidents they served. President Bush was very sensitive to the plight of commuters stuck in traffic due to his motorcade and often told the Secret Service agents that they didn’t need to stop traffic just for him. The Secret Service‘s solution was to stop traffic farther back from the intersection so the President wouldn’t see all the cars waiting for him to pass.

Everywhere ANY President goes there are traffic jams. Then SOME Presidents make that unscheduled stop, which may not be on the Secret Services’ plan and it is a security nightmare. The important thing is that Barry got the cash for his reelection bid: what do they serve at a $35,000 a ticket event ? Barry serves up the balogna and the donors pay up. I‘ll bet he didn’t kick open any doors at these gatherings ( see video now circulating ).

It seems George Soros forget to tell Mr. Obama he won the election a few years ago, if only more had watched Glenn Beck this wouldn’t have happened. I firmly believe if Obama resignd today un-employment would drop a couple points by Christmas and be down to 5-6% by 2013. Capitolism needs faith and trust in government to function.
