Faith Obama WH corrects its own Bible gaffe

While President Obama was out proclaiming how God wants Congress to pass his jobs bill, White House press secretary Jay Carney turned to the Bible for support, telling the White House press corps:
Well, I believe the phrase from the Bible is, “The Lord helps those who help themselves.” And I think the point the President is making is that we should — we have it within our capacity to do the things to help the American people.
But when it came time to post the transcript of the briefing on the White House website, the Obama administration was forced to print its own correction:
*This common phrase does not appear in the Bible.
Whoopsie.

Unless maybe it’s in the black liberation version of the Bible…I haven’t read that one. I‘d have to go ask Obama’s old pastor.

Because the Koran says it is okay to lie to infidels if it forwards your Islamic cause.
