Cain ‘reassessing,’ Huntsman says please do
Jon Huntsman is glad Herman Cain is “reassessing” whether to stay in the race, following the new allegations from a Georgia woman that he had a lengthy extramarital affair with her.
In an interview with the Boston Globe, Huntsman said, “Given the bandwidth that has been taken out of the discussion of any other issues pertinent to this campaign, a reconsideration might be in order.”
Huntsman said he saw the news of the most recent allegations against Cain and called it a distraction.
“Just watching last night, everyone was glued to the latest bit of drama and I thought, ‘What about a (financial) downgrade that is being anticipated? What about Europe? What about so many other issues out there that we ought to be talking about and that people ought to understand where candidates come down on those issues?’” Huntsman said. “It’s all sort of dissipated in the latest campaign drama around the accusations.”

Posted on November 30, 2011 at 6:41pmWhat does this woman have for PROOF?
1.A signed book from Cain. OOOOOOOH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
2. Bankruptcy. Need a few buck,do ya?
3. NOT paid rent for a YEAR. See above comment.
4. Unemployed, for over a year, single mom. MMM….A pattern?
5. LOST a suit for defamation and stalking. Let’s fire the shotgun ONE more time and see if we hit anything!
Can this woman (sic) be telling the truth THIS time?

Posted on December 2, 2011 at 9:28pmHang in there, Herman!
This latest round of accusations is completely implausible. A man battling Stage 4 colon cancer will not carry on a “thirteen-year affair” with anyone, and that’s that. Not gonna happen. Back in the day, reputable news outlets would refrain from publishing groundless accusations that obviously conflicted with known facts. That was the difference between respectable journalism and sleazy supermarket tabloids – a difference that no longer exists.

Posted on November 30, 2011 at 11:40amHmmm; so it more then likely Huntsman who’s been spreading these rumors. Won’t work Johnny boy. How’s that for spreading rumors. I’ve yet to see the stained blue dress. You keep on rocking Mr. Cain. I just feel sorry that the ruse continues onward especially at a place like the Blaze that should know better. Watch the other hand was Glenn Beck’s montra, now I see that other hand might be at the Blaze too. Sad. :)

Posted on November 30, 2011 at 3:06amI see Google has been added to sign on – thats a good thing
Beck has told us he would never endorse a candidate, or tell us who he voted for… Now we hear Michelle Bachman, at 7percent is one of the only two he could endorse… So we forget he said
Never, Not Me, and the other is Santorum at 1percent…
Meanwhile the Blaze romps right up on all the Allegations, elevates them to the level of suspicious, and takes way to long to publicize the rebuttal and total refutation of all accusations to date…
The wording of the Title of the article is offensive, Cain is not Reconsidering – He has already announced the current accusation unfounded and stated emphatically that he will continue to run.
The Blaze reported Cain slipping in the polls in much the same way, started announcing it before it happened, claimed it was inevitable, and encouraged it by the lame and slanted coverage provided.
Where is the presumption of innocence for Cain? You may not think he is the best choice, or have the best plans – So why accept the personal attacks…
Where was the intensive scrutiny of the plans and policies this good candidate put forth – none in the Blaze… ? How about Gingrich – He also has a published plan…Why arent we comparing and picking out the good/bad points of both?
If you want good candidates to run – act responsibly politically – raise the bar for the mainstream media /// Definitly stop lowering it

Posted on November 29, 2011 at 11:53pmThis is all kinda fishy to me. Where were these women when Cain ran for president in ’08? And when he ran for the senate? And why does the media keep going after this blantant b.s.? And haven’t all the other accusers been discredited? Herman, stay in. I for one don’t trust the other candidates.

Posted on November 30, 2011 at 2:05amThe “lady” in question, Ginger White, is “a divorced mother of two with a long history of financial troubles”. And a very checkered legal history as well. Where have we heard THAT before?
Some irresponsible skank is out for whatever money she can get, never mind how she gets it. Somebody out there whose pockets are deeper than Mr. Cain’s evidently gave or promised her enough money to go over to the other side. We may eventually find out exactly who paid her to commit slander, but by then, it will most likely be too late.
I am acquainted with many people who try to help others who are (or claim to be) in need. Sometimes that involves money, a lot of phone conversations, and other forms of assistance. It’s just plain indecent for us to assume that a sexual quid pro quo is automatically involved. If we have this attitude, then nobody will ever want to help anybody with anything out of fear of compromising their reputation. The upshot? Anybody who is genuinely in need will have to rely on the all-powerful government. Is that what we want?
And is Huntsman merely piggybacking along on this brouhaha, hoping to revive his own flagging campaign – or was he somehow involved in digging up and bankrolling any of these trashy women?

Posted on November 29, 2011 at 11:45pmGOP candidate Herman Cain has been accused yet again of having an improper relationship.
However, there are some who think the latest accuser is simply making the whole thing up.
In fact, Mrs. Cain and at least 5 other women have come forward and said that Cain was definitely NOT involved with this woman.

Posted on November 29, 2011 at 10:37pmI am sick of hearing Huntsman complain about bandwidth and being to the side of the stage. Just campaign. Make your case! He’s got a good issue with the bailouts, and he has a legitimate path to the White House if only he would stop getting in his own way. His actual record is more conservative than Gingrich’s. Given the choice of Gingrich, Huntsman and Romney, is it that absurd to think a social conservative would pick Huntsman? Only if he insists on talking down to them. http://bit.ly/w3IUlr

Posted on November 29, 2011 at 4:56pmIf they’re true, it’s a shame. And Cain really should have known better than to run for president with skeletons like this in his closet.
If they’re false, it’s criminal and someone should pay dearly. And Cain should spend every last dime he has making sure they do…. and NOT drop out of the race.

Its a shame, though. What happened to Herman Cain is why no other non-politicians try their hand at the presidency.
