Football might cost Gingrich votes

That headline could be blowing things a little out of proportion, but it’s worth the thought.
Newt Gingrich supporters like football a bit more than Mitt Romney‘s and Ron Paul‘s do, according to an NBC/Marist poll. Sounds American. But unfortunately for Gingrich, the Sugar Bowl has been scheduled for Jan. 3, the same night of the Republican Iowa caucus.
Depending on just how much Gingrich’s fans like football, some of them might opt to stay in for the game. Gingrich better say a Hail Mary.

We are talking about our country dying or staying alive to fulfill her destiny for generations to come. Our country is in the grip of Obama and his Marxist cronies. We will need more than the jaws of life to extricate ourselves from Obama’s soiled hands. This election in 2012 stands to define what America will be like going into the future. If a person would rather watch football than go cast a vote for their chosen candidate, then we have Americans that clearly don‘t care about our country’s future. This summarizes our error as citizens in two words: Apathy and Ignorance. Obama, being a parasite and a worm will use this weak ***** in the armor to penetrate the American body politic and burrow himself deeper into our collective psyche. If Emperor Obama’s reign goes on for four more years, we only ourselves to blame.
