Politics Perry‘s ringtone is ’Jump’ by Van Halen

Jump by Van Halen plays on Rick Perrys phone
From ABC News:

As he railed against Supreme Court justices, whom he calls “legislators in robes,” during his first event of his eighth day on his Iowa bus tour, Rick Perry was interrupted mid-sentence when Van Halen’s “Jump” started playing from his phone.

“That’s my daughter, I’ll call her back,” Perry said as the crowd at Drake on the Riverfront laughed and applauded.

Roll with the punches, Perry. Might as well jump.

Gingrich, Romney, Paul and Perry got the number of signatures for the Virginia primary, but Bachmann, Santorum and Huntsman did not.

Honestly, the first thing I thought of was the scene from “Big Daddy” with Adam Sandler with this song on his answering machine. “Might as well.. [leave a message!]“

and my ringtone is that ‘ringy ding ding’ thing from the Geico commercial. whoopie. it was posted as a wav file on their website for awhile, got it and now can’t seem to remember how to change it, or just too dang lazy to do so.

gets a few chuckles when it rings in public, big whoop. So does Perry, taking a liking to Van Halen, bring his ‘coolness’ factor up any? Should we decide if a candidate likes the Sammy Hagar version of Van Halen over the other guy, as a factor for Commander in Chief??

Indeed. First thought- Women and Children First? Hmm. Second thought- Jack Daniels. Oh wait, that’s not a song. ” And the cradle will rock, ROCK ON: ( Hey-it could be worse. Can you say Black Sabbath?)

“Eruption” is the obvious choice here.
