Romney camp considered ‘Yes We Can’ in 2008
“Yes We Can,” a slogan popularized by President Barack Obama‘s 2008 election campaign and Kohl’s Department Store, was almost used in Mitt Romney‘s own ’08 presidential bid.
The detail is included in the new book “The Real Mitt Romney”:
One of the campaign’s chief concerns was that Romney would be tagged, as one slide put it, as “Flip-flop Mitt,” given his changes on issues such as abortion. The media team urged Romney to counter that with a forward-looking brand. One of the slides suggested that Romney use this as his catchphrase: ‘Yes, we can.’ But Barack Obama would take it before Romney could.
The book is set to be published Jan. 17.

Posted on January 14, 2012 at 8:12amSo what is the Reince Priebus Slogan? The more I watch this unfold before my eye’s the worse it gets. Remember the “Shellackin?” Remember the Tea Party Fire after Obama-Care was forced down our throats? Remember the Pelosi AD saying “You must first pass Obama-Care so we can see whats inside it?” After all this Reince Priebus said he was going to change the direction of the Republican party.
Personally I thought it was heading on a pretty good track, took back Congress 2010, on route to take back the Senate and White House in 2012. I did a little searching and have concludedd the following today – http://speedyjerry.com/2012/01/14/reince-priebus-george-soros/
