Media Michael Moore sides with Gingrich on anti-Romney film

Michael Moore comments on
Newt Gingrich
has been at the forefront of the attacks on Mitt Romney‘s tenure at private equity firm Bain Capital. And it was pro-Gingrich Super PAC Winning Our Future that produced “When Mitt Romney Came to Town,” the controversial 28-minute documentary tying Romney to corporate greed.

This has put Gingrich in an awkward alliance with liberal filmmaker Michael Moore.

“I wondered who they stole from my crew,” Moore told the New York Times regarding the documentary. “It was fun to hear what I have been saying for 20 years, not just by any Republican candidate, but Newt Gingrich.”

Despite allegations by some people interviewed in the film that their quotes were taken out of context (Gingrich has called on the PAC to “edit out every single mistake”), Moore spoke highly of the project.

“The people in the film are real and you can tell they are speaking in unscripted ways,” he said. “And what they say is what people in my films say, which is that the rich are getting richer, the middle class is being eliminated and greed rules. This is not just the language of my films, but the language of Occupy Wall Street.”

Now there’s an endorsement Gingrich can take to the bank credit union.

If Michael Moore sides with you, you’re on the wrong side.

      Ditto.

It didn‘t take long listening to Gingrich attacking Romney to realize no matter how skilled Gingrich is with words he doesn’t understand free enterprise.

Businesses who were opportunities for Bain Capital were already doomed. Without a miracle worker stepping in all employees were soon to be on the street looking for new jobs. That if a company is worth more sold off in parts then it was totally broken in the first place. A viable working company is always worth more than its parts because it is PRODUCING more tomorrow than existed today. And that is the key difference between the Left and the Right. The Left believes worth is the sum of the parts and the Right knows the right parts in combination are worth more than their sum.

It’s ridiculous for any Republican candidate to take an anti-business stance. I don’t really like a “pro-business” stance either – but anti-business is the first step towards destroying (instead of just subverting) the free market.
