Mitt Romney accused of blatant tithing (PHOTO!)

Seriously ABC News?

Mitt Romney accused of blatant tithing (PHOTO!)How dare he??!??!?!!!?!?!??!?!  SCANDAL!

By the way, also from ABC News–you get this gem:

On Tuesday, Romney disclosed that he has been paying a far lower percentage in taxes than most Americans, around 15 percent of his annual earnings.

Ummmm…actually no.  Most Americans do NOT pay a “far lower percentage” at all.  As Noel Sheppard points out with fancy charts to back it up:

That means as a function of AGI – which is typically how folks look at taxes – if Romney pays 15 percent as he stated, he’s paying a higher rate than 97 percent of his fellow citizens.

This is a far cry from what media representatives have been saying since his admission.

Even measuring this by taxable income, Romney is still paying more than 87 percent of filers.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Oh yeah Glenn and Stu, The two hypocrites of the media. The caller stating that Glenn was drinking the Romney koolaid was ridiculed by both of you, but he is right in many respects. But, you back Santorum, which you know will not get the nomination. He isn’t even on the ballot in all the primary precincts. You guys seem to be for Romney, but you do not want anyone to know as that would go against the progressive hatred you guys espouse. I used to be a big fan, to the point that my wife would tell me I was obsessed, but no more. I cancelled my GBTV as Glenn has shown me he is a hypocrite. I will continue to try to open peoples eyes on the Blaze, since I do not have to put money in Glenn’s pocket.

I decided I was not done. You guys (Glenn and Stu) say your backing Santorum, all the while talking how Gingrich is a big government progressive (I believe that also), and ignoring the fact that Santorum is the same. This is from someone you, Glenn, used to have as a guest host on your Fox show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1Gwwmm-cQxU#

How can you even say you back this guy?? I bet you guys don’t even read these blogs. Shame on both of you. I wll continue to spread the word everywhere on the internet about your hypocricy and I hope it hits you hard in your pocketbooks.

The have to criticize Romney for tithing, so no one looks at how little Obama and Biden gave to charity.

I wonder if Jeremiah Wright ever preached on tithing in the 20 years Obama attended? Obama claimed not to hear Wright’s racist comments. He might have some credibility in that claim, if he can prove he didn’t pay attention to sermons on tithing also.

The most Obama ever donated to charity was 3% (that is good for a Liberal Progressive who expects the Government to take care of the poor).

Actually, he was thinking about the early-to-mid-80s cartoon about an all-girl rock band called “Jem”, because, like Jem, this story is truly, truly, truly outrageous.

Great post! I’m beginning to think people really hate those who walk the walk and love those who just talk the talk.
@Kyledefrogg, thanks for posting that link. I remember that story as I live in So Cal, no fan fare, no media, just taking time out to help. Just posted it to Facebook.
