Media Herman Cain: ‘I know me some Pokemon words’

While “campaigning” with comedian Stephen Colbert on his fake presidential bid in South Carolina on Friday, Herman Cain recalled a sweeter moment from his own campaign.
“I know me some Pokemon words,” Cain told a mostly liberal crowd, according to The Hill. Cain was harkening back to when he recited lyrics from a song during one of the Republican presidential debates.
“A poet once said, ‘life can be a challenge, life can seem impossible, but it’s never easy when there’s so much on the line,’” Cain had said at the time. It turned out the “poet” was actually Donna Summer in a song originally recorded for the movie “Pokemon: the Movie 2000.”
At the event Cain also urged attendees to vote in South Carolina’s primary which is held Saturday.

Posted on January 20, 2012 at 8:31pmPokemon has a lot of wisdom to offer. I can picture Obama reading “I want…to be…the very best…like no one…ever was” off the teleprompter, while punctuating every few sylables with a shake of his hand, thumb poised on his pointer figure.
