While Mitt Romney‘s newest ad airing in Florida has what I called “all the things a good attack ad is supposed to have,” Newt Gingrich‘s new ad has almost nothing. It simply seeks to relive the high he experienced at the Republican debate running into South Carolina’s primary.

Granted, Romney‘s campaign still has a lot more money than Gingrich’s, allowing him to create much more elaborate ads. Plus, airtime in Florida is pricey.

The ad plays the bit from the debate in which Gingrich explains why he calls President Barack Obama the “food-stamp president;” with some triumphant music for flair, of course.
