An email blast from the Ron Paul campaign said the following about reports Donald Trump will endorse Mitt Romney today:
Reality TV star, Donald Trump, who endorsed and contributed money to Harry Reid and Charlie Rangel will travel today to Nevada to endorse a Republican candidate?
Please explain to us why anyone would care.
Please explain to Republican voters in Nevada why they should consider the opinion of a billionaire from New York who endorsed the arch enemy of all Republicans in Nevada, and really the enemy of all Republicans in the US.
Hopefully, media reports of this event will include this delicious irony.

Posted on February 6, 2012 at 4:41pmIf Romney is the man that ends up running against Obama, be certain of this, if you do not put aside your prejudices and opinions you will get Obama again. Romney is a thousand times better. Do I think he’s the best we had? No, he isn‘t the best were eleminated or didn’t choose to run, but I will vote for Romney if he is the one that is given us, I do not want four more years of Obama and his taking away our freedoms. A third party will be the death of getting Obama out. Let us not be stupid and slit our own throats.

Posted on February 3, 2012 at 6:20amIf Trump actually cared about the country he would endorse Ron Paul. Sadly he cares more about his ego and siding with the preceived winner instead.

Posted on February 3, 2012 at 2:22amI‘m a big Ron Paul guy but it’s a little disheartening to see him polling so low after flirting with victory early on. To me it’s simply the Republican party that is holding him down and yet promoting his message at the same time. I really hope he runs 3rd party after Mitt buys the nomination. RON PAUL 2012

Posted on February 6, 2012 at 4:37pmDo you really believe that Ron Paul would not go to war if our nation was in danger. The fact that he thinks he can sit down and diplomat his way out of a world that hates us and wants us to go down is shere nonsense. He would either go to war or continue to weaken us before the world. Some things about Ron Paul are good and some things are stupid. We can believe all we want that he can talk our way out of things but it isn’t going to happen. Be prepared never weaken our nation. We are in more danger than we have ever been at this time. Ron Paul needs to stop giving out a false message about what he can do with the world, his magic wand of rhetoric will not save us from the enemies out there.

Don’t forget that Trump gave $50K to Rahm Emanuel to help him get elected as mayor of Chicago:

Trump Gave Rahm Emanuel $50K

Billionaire Donald Trump, who’s eyeing a run for the White House, gave a sizeable campaign contribution to President Barack Obama‘s chief of staff as he ran to become Chicago’s mayor, a recent report highlighted.
The Illinois Review, a conservative blog, reports that Trump gave Rahm Emanuel $50,000 in December 2010. Those numbers came out in January, 2011, but are being pointed out now because of Trump’s possible presidential bid.

Posted on February 2, 2012 at 3:23pmWhy should anyone care what the phony Ron Paul has to say? How can someone so correct on a few issues be so stunningly wrong on others – the ones that directly affect our safety and security? When will his sycophants look at all the pork he’s tried to direct to his own district. Physician, heal thyself.

Posted on February 2, 2012 at 2:45pmHere is my take. Romney is a CEO first, a politician second. This is a good thing. If anyone has ever worked in the corporate world, it is a back-stabbing, cut throat business. So is politics. But there is a big difference. Romney didn’t get anywhere by being a wussie. He would have been eaten alive. He knows how to get what he wants, he knows how to work the system. If you put him up against the democratic machine, he will do well. I think he will tear it down. People think he is this wussie and can’t fight like Newt, but they don’t understand that being in the corporate world you cannot show any kind of fight on the outside. You do it quietly, not making a show. The dems know this. If Romney gets the nomination, Obama will have a different kind of fight on his hands because he is not dealing with a politician, he is dealing with a CEO in politician clothing. Obama, who was a community organizer, and an academia, will have NO clue how to handle Romney. CEO’s did not get to where they are by being nice, and if all of the conservatives think that Romney is too nice, they are severely mistaken. He will use his strategies against the dems, and Obama just like he did to get to where he is today.

Posted on February 3, 2012 at 9:07amI’m sorry but when we have so called “Conservatives” calling RomneyCare free market and conservative I have to laugh out loud.
The Republicans will not bring this up during this primary or the general but you can bet Obama will be bringing up RomneyCare are for ObamaCare is one and the same.
It’s a big problem thats not going away.

Posted on February 2, 2012 at 2:11pmI think this is exactly what most people could have predicted. Trump almost certainly understands Mitt better than the other candidates. He almost certainly has more in common with him. He almost certainly expects Mitt to understand him and his needs better than any of the other candidates. Of course he endorsed Mitt.
News worthy because Trump is a celebrity, businessman and was a possible candidate. But I don’t think it will sway any voters one way or the other.
