You’re Welcome America wasn’t enough.
Many conservatives may love films like Old School, Anchorman, Elf and Talladega Nights, but may not be happy to learn that the star of those films is strongly supporting the reelection of Barack Obama. Ferrell contributed political donations to Howard Dean during the 2004 campaign, and since 2011, has donated over $71,000 to Barack Obama and the DNC. AP reports that as the election approaches, Ferrell will up his support and organization for the President:
“After departing Milwaukee, Obama was to attend two fundraisers in Los Angeles. The first is an outdoor fundraising reception at the home of soap opera producer Bradley Bell and his wife, Colleen, featuring a performance by the rock band the Foo Fighters. The campaign expects 1,000 supporters to attend, with tickets starting at $250. Obama is also attending a dinner at Bell’s home co-hosted by actor Will Ferrell and his wife, Viveca Paulin. Eighty people are expected to attend the dinner, with tickets costing $35,800.”

Feb. 15, 2012 at 8:14pmI agree. People seem to go gaga over him and Adam Sandler, but both are as about as talented as Will’s hairy posterior.
Oh, they can tell some jokes and be a little funny? Welcome to the world of third rate part-time comedians who the rest of the time work at Wal-Mart. Ferrel’s just lucky you have to drive a hundred miles or more out of LA to find a Wal-Mart.
Now on my Boycott list. I don’t wany of of my money going to support him.

Feb. 15, 2012 at 1:07pmHe’s a stinker of an actor, but apparently has one of the best agents in the business. Gets paid a premium dollar no matter his movies lose money.

Feb. 15, 2012 at 12:28pmAhh, the good ole 1% (with an exemption, of course, from the ire of the OWS crowd) and their luxury. Some of the very people who are at these extravagant events will step to a microphone and claim to feel the pain of the OWS movement.
