Media Ron Paul ad calls Santorum ‘dude’ and ‘fake’

Ron Paul‘s political ads are the best. In his newest one, he goes after Rick Santorum ahead of the Michigan primary. It’s a goodie for the following reasons:
1. The voice over refers to Santorum as “dude.”
2. It uses a bloated, shirtless man to illustrate the Dept. of Education.
3. It says Santorum’s decision to “support the biggest entitlement expansion since the ’60s“ is ”not groovy.”
4. Finally it goes for the knockout: “Rick Santorum a fiscal conservative? Fake.”

People, wake up. Allow your passion for economic liberty to stir passion for civil liberty as well. Stop turning to the federal government. We don’t need them to ban gay marriage. We need them to stay out of marriage all together. We have been taken over by neocons that want a police state with no civil liberties and constant war. The left has been taken over by progressives who want to control through a welfare state. No matter who we elect on either side of the isle, we lose liberty, and it tends to be of both kinds. Ron Paul is not on either side. He is on the side of liberty. He is not on the side of government intervention in economic OR civil liberties. Thats why the establishment on both sides hate him so much. It’s why he has no problem cutting a trillion dollars in the first year, pulling all of our troops home, cutting at least 5 departments, and phasing out all of our social programs. Give liberty a chance. Let the light shine.

It may backfire on Paul though, since he currently has much of the Gen-Occupy vote (BTW, i’m officially submitting my suggested use of Generation Entitlement or GEN-TITLEMENT rather than Gen-Occupy for these mindless youth). Once the occupiers see what an entitlement supporter Santorum is, they will flock to him in droves as the anti-Obama option.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 1:22pmI doubt it…. for most in that occupy group, in weighing Santorum’s support for big-government spending and entitlements vs. his crusade against civil liberties, the anti-gay, etc. stance will be enough to keep them at bay.
