Newt Gingrich releases 28 minute energy ad….really
Known for at times working outside the mainstream and being unafraid to propose grandiose ideas, Newt Gingrich appears to have lived up to his reputation, releasing a 28-minute, 59-second video on energy and gas prices Wednesday.
Gingrich says his plan could bring gas prices down to $2.50 a gallon, proposes more domestic drilling and says he will approve the Canada-to-Texas pipeline shelved by the White House
The Wall Street Journal reports that the Gingrich campaign claims it will run the entire video in “key cities” until Super Tuesday:
“What’s less clear is how the campaign could afford to do so. It had less than $2 million in the bank two weeks ago, and reportedly raised $2 million during a California campaign swing last week.”
Perhaps late night infomercial slots?

We’re in big trouble in America and Newt is the only one taking it seriously – presenting bold solutions. And in response to this site’s lead-in question on how Newt’s campaign can afford the ad’s running – Sheldon Adelson – who has pledged between $10M and $100M to Newt’s Super Pac. There really are super partiots at work!

Agree !
It is very telling that the Blaze editors chose to stick this article
with Gingrich’s excellent video, on a “Sideline Blog” page
and not, where it deserved to be….on the “Headline” page,
so MORE people would view it.
INTENTIONAL ?
I believe so….especially, because the Blaze is SO anti-Gingrich
but it really shows their lack of respect, for their readership, in general.
Their editorial decisions are low-class & juvenile, to say the least.

Posted on February 22, 2012 at 6:17pmIn a world, full of misleading “sound bites” & sniping “tweets”-
Gingrich’s invested interest, in those,
who are intelligent, serious & capable of committing a half hour,
to hear IMPORTANT, straight-on talk
about doable & uplifting solutions, for our country.
Commit yourself & time, to more than mere political spin & blips.
Others have bravely, made an investment in their county,
many with their lives-
it behooves EVERY American to do the same.
Listen & learn…..Smarten up !
Quit jumping on bandwagons with weak wheels & no rations.
Gingrich’s message is rich, full of sensible solutions.
NO candidate holds a candle to this man’s wisdom…a GENUINE LEADER !
That said, too bad, the producing eye of this video didn’t put Newt
against a plain or simpler background.
The blue curtain background is very distracting-
it looks like, at any moment, Ed Sullivan & Topo Gigio should walk out.
Yes, Newt’s MESSAGE is the most important & he hits all the marks,
but with today’s technology, someone needs to make that curtain disappear,
so his message & face dominate-
especially, if it’s to be aired frequently, during the next months.
Other than that, Gingrich has shown more promise & positivity,
in this video, than any of the other candidates
and more than, Obama has shown, in his 3 years of absolute failure.
