Raise your hand if you’re actually surprised to see the disgusting and disturbing feature Hustler is running of a sexual fantasy involving our own S.E. Cupp.  Anyone?

I, for one, am (sadly) not surprised. The idea that misguided conservative women need to be “cured” by sex with men is appalling, but nothing new.  The left’s misogynistic war on conservative women has been raging for years. I’m very sad to see that S.E. has been victimized in this way, but she joins good company among conservative women who have been unjustly & disrespectfully targeted by the liberal media in this way.

Take for instance the unmitigated sexism directed at Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann during her recent presidential campaign.  Late-night comedians joined in the mockery with Conan sidekick Andy Richter joking, “There’s nothing wrong with Michele Bachmann that two solid weeks of orgasms couldn’t cure.” Bachmann was also mercilessly mocked in “Corndoggate” — the widespread circulation of a candid photograph which showed her eating a corndog in a position that resembled the performance of oral sex.  And who could forget Bill Maher’s HBO absurdity hour?  Take for instance the time when Air America “comedian” Marc Maron’s hoped that Bachmann’s husband “f**** her angrily because, because that’s how I would. And I’ve thought about it.  I just … It’s a political statement I’m trying to make.”

Of course it is — just as liberals used the crude sexual term “teabagging” to refer to the conservative Tea Party movement.

The list of victimized conservatives goes on and on…

Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was dubbed a MILF and David Letterman joked about her “slutty flight attendant look.”  Letterman also saw fit to criticize Palin through a crude joke about her 14-year-old daughter being “knocked up” by Alex Rodriguez at Yankee Stadium.

Author Michelle Malkin has been called a “highly f***able Filipina.”

Radio host Laura Ingraham is a “slut,” according to MSNBC host Ed Schultz.  Why?  Because she has an opinion different from his own.

In 2009, Playboy highlighted these women and more as conservative women they’d like to “hate f***” in an article titled So Right, It’s Wrong.

The writer, Guy Cimbalo, wrote:

Obama promised us the dream of post-partisanship—a cuckoo land where party affiliation and factional animosity were forgotten. Turn on cable news or open any newspaper, however, and you’ll quickly discover that the dream has yet to materialize. But there is a way to reach across the aisle without letting principles fall by the wayside. We speak, naturally, of the hate [f***]. We may despise everything these women represent, but g**d***** they’re hot. Let the healing begin.

And liberals think this is funny?  I hope for their sakes that their daughters don’t grow up to be conservative because no parent should have to warn their child that mere opinions could behoove such despicable treatment.

At every turn, liberal detractors try to sexualize conservative women, all in an attempt to de-legitimize their views.  Instead of debating issues the warrant actual political discourse, liberals turn to this technique every time.

“If you don’t parade around naked, go commando, if you have moral values, if you don’t toke on anything that smokes and maintain reasoned rational, informed opinions — then you deserve to be raped. You know, to bring you down to size,” conservative blogger Pamela Geller opined after the Playboy article was released.

Thankfully, a firestorm on Twitter forced Playboy to remove the 2009 article from their website.  Here’s hoping that similar standards still exist in 2012 and that our friend S.E. can be spared from such vile disrespect.
