Vice President Joe Biden delivered a speech to graduating seniors at Virginia Beach high school today.

Virginia is considered important to President Barack Obama’s re-election strategy and administration officials are regularly making appearances in the state leading up to the election.

Biden told the graduates to ignore cynical comments they may hear. He said there’s no reason not to believe in the continued promise of America, saying that they will lead a period of technological innovation.
