Obama goes to Georgia for movie, some money, too

A movie based on the life of baseball legend Jackie Robinson is filming in Atlanta and President Barack Obama has requested to stop by the set tomorrow when he arrives in the city to do some fundraising.
Thomas Tulls, founder of Legendary Pictures, which is producing the film, OK’d the visit, according to Deadline.
“Well, of course I said it would be OK,” said Tull, who has given $35,800 to the Obama Victory Fund 2012 so far. Details of the set visit are still being worked out. In recent campaign speeches, Obama has mentioned Robinson, who broke baseball’s color barrier, as “laying the groundwork” for an African-American to become President.
Deadline also notes Obama’s last visit to Atlanta was for fundraisers hosted by movie producer and actor Tyler Perry in March.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us.
