Here’s the Alex Boye National Anthem video Beck mentioned on GBTV

During tonight’s episode of GBTV, Glenn Beck mentioned an touching video of Restoring Love performer Alex Boye singing the National Anthem earlier this year after becoming a U.S. citizen. It’s truly incredible. We’ve included it below:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

As a Veteran. and a Musician I have heard, played and sung the National Anthem a thousand times easily if not more. I cannot remember ever breaking down in tears as I have just done. Watching and listening to Mr. Boye, one can see and feel the love he has for his new country. It would be so wonderful if more of those who were born here could experience that same love. May God Bless you Mr. Boye, and Welcome Home!

Proof positive that being black is not an obstacle to success. If one desires to be an American, it needs only his determination and self respect as well as a healthy respect for our country.

We don’t need more idols. We have too many already. We need more patriots who hold the Constitution close to their hearts. We need people who will stand for the Star Spangled Banner and the Pledge of Allegiance. We need more citizens holding elected office who will protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Sometimes the newest citizens appreciate this country more than those who have been here so long that they take it for granted. Our republic is very fragile and is always just one generation away from collapse. We all need to love what is good about this nation. Remember that gold is refined and purified by fire.

I stood at attention and almost teared up at his singing of the anthem. I was excited and happy for him and then suddenly angry at all of those that got a free pass, that rob us through entitlements and burn our flag and spit on our service uniforms and now I wanna punch a liberal in the face. Sorry, soo angry..

I agree with you completely. It was so touching to see how much that meant to Mr. Boyle, and to realize how much he appreciates what so many of us take for granted. Would be nice if all of us were as happy and proud to be an American as this fine gentleman.

Is this the same National Anthem that some on the left think is stupid and makes no sense? Tell that to this proud new U.S. citizen. It give me chills to see how proud he is to call America his home.

The Leftists think our national anthem is too much about war and too violent therefore we should do away with it and have a different national anthem. Madison Rising came back with their version and the website to promote The Star Spangled Banner.

He did pretty good ….especially without music. However, I have to say that since Madison Rising heard that there were actually hate groups out there who wanted to do away with The Star Spangled Banner, they decided to do their version of it…..now I’m smitten by The Star Spangled Banner rock style, even though I don’t usually like to hear people singing it while going off on a tangent with the tune. This group did a fantastic job.
Check out the music video by Madison Rising and see if you aren’t emotionally moved by it.

No thank you I really like the way Alex our new American sang the National Anthem. They can rock all they want to, but there is only one way to sing our National Anthem.

Thats what it means to become an American and Free-
You have got to want it more than life itself, no automatic “free” pass can do that.

My eyes began to tear up early in the video, long before he began to sing. You can see in his face and his actions that he was tremendously excited to become an American. Being an American was important to him, not just residing inside the borders of this country. God bless him and everyone else (regardless of race for all you idiots who make a race issue out of everything) who make the effort to comply with the laws of this country and live here legally!

The American Dream is still alive. When a good, humble man does all in his power to lift and inspire, and do it the right way, it certainly is an inspiration to me.

    Make them HEAR you!
