State legislator loves taking sick Myspace-like photos of himself in bathroom mirror

It is with great regret that I introduce you to Republican Florida State Legislator Peter Nehr (who turned 60 late last month):

Nehr said he sent the pictures to many friends because he was proud to have dropped his weight from 210 to 160 and got control of his diabetes. “I had no idea anyone would use them against me,” Nehr said

By showing that he’s proud of losing weight and trying to live a healthier lifestyle?
If he was at the beach would it be “sick” to have his pic posted?
It is a rather harmless picture as far as I can tell.
Please elaborate on your so far useless comment.
      Wait.
      I know.
You are a LIBERAL aren’t you?

Because you are overweight and diabetic should you be slinging mud?
And who gave you the authority to decide what is sick and rules for one and their constituents?

Not enough information given to call them sick yet. Losing 50 lbs, gaining control of diabetes (which has a tendency to give an inner tube waist), and being 60 *is* something to crow about. If that is all, good for him.

This man lost 50 POUNDS and got control of his diabetes. I’d say that’s a VERY GOOD thing. He sent pics to his relatives to show his excellent diet results. No problem there.

Is he married and sending his picture to solicit men, boys, women or girls ?
Are there suggestive text messages along with naked self-photos?
    –NO?

    >What’s the problem?

OK. Outside of the guy being a congressman, what is the real issue here?

I’m not seeing any ‘wiener-esc’ nudity (not that I want to) and aside from the fact that photos like this could be perceived as narcissistic I see people posting photos which they have taken of themselves all over the Internet all the time these days.
