Reid: Romney insulted ‘everybody’ in Olympics remarks

Responding to Mitt Romney‘s recent comments that there were some “disconcerting” logistical issues in preparation for the Olympics Games in London, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Dramatic-Nev.) said “it’s not good” for Romney “to go over and insult everybody.”

Everybody!

Romney made the remark in an interview with NBC on Wednesday while in London ahead of the Games.

As a wise man and now unofficial adviser to the Romney campaign, Reid also told the Huffington Post how he would have handled questions on the Olympics.

“I would go there and I would say, ‘They have done a remarkably good job. I know how they have been hurt with the economy. But they have done this. I have done it myself. It’s so hard to do, and they have done a remarkably good job.’ That’s what they should have done. He would have been cheered and not have the mayor, before 60,000 people, belittle one of our major party nominees. And that’s what the mayor did.”

Truth tellers in politics are hard to take for the political class. They are used to having people slobber of them. They expect people to ingratiate themselves, not genuinely analyze strengths and weaknesses – funny result is that now the UK will try 10 times as hard to make sure nothing goes wrong -and isn’t that a great effect by a great leader – Mitt Romney.

Hey Harry remember this quote? “(Obama is ) light skin with no ***** dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”

Or:; “It’s a great day in America! Only 36,000 people lost their jobs today, which is really good.”
    STFU!!!!!!

Don’t be surprised if Romney is proven right about inadequate preparation for the Olympics. When that happens, don’t be surprised if no one reports it.
