Are you going to Chick-Fil-A today? We want to hear about it!

I just got back from a delightfully patriotic lunch at Chick-Fil-A in Arlington, Va. It was PACKED.  The line snaked out the door and down the block…

Are you going to Chick Fil A today? We want to hear about it!

Apparently, Chick-Fil-A appreciation day extends even to liberal bastions like Northern Virginia.

chick fil a appreciation day for free speech has got to be the most ridiculous marketing scheme ever and people seriously didnt realize that. if you want to pronounce your freedom then go out and say what you want, dont buy a chicken sandwich. especially from a company who opposes freedom for all. absolutely ridiculous. how disappointing, america. come. on. are we seriously that stupid?

Went with my parents last night to celebrate free speech with great chicken, waffle fries, sweet tea and a peach shake. Though Mayor Villarogosa, says that the people of Los Angeles would not back CFA because of their opposition to liberty (kind of Orwellian), but throughout LA including in my birthplace of Northridge and even in Hollywood the people supported CFA and Mr. Cathy’s free speech rights and his right to run his business despite holding an opinion not in line with liberal dogma. The people of CFA are great and puts most other fast foods restaurant’s customer service to shame. One of my cousins decided to not wait in the 300+ person line and I commented to my mom, “the men who stormed Normandy did it for freedom, they faced German machine guns to give us the freedoms we have today, she can’t spend an hour or two in line to buy a chicken sandwich and support free speech, that is sad”.
I made a video of the store in Northridge and the picture of our Country at it’s best supporting freedom.

Just got back from the chick fil a in I.F. Idaho , fifteen minutes before closing, still really busy. Should be a good week for the franchise after such a bad and sad week last week. free speech is alive and well. Even if you don’t agree with some you still have the right to speak your piece.

Just finished devouring my free speech grilled chicken sandwich. I don’t think CFA has ever tasted so good! We went there twice today. Treated my neighbor and her kids to an early lunch and then returned for a late supper. We were at the Gulf Shores, AL location and I’m proud to say I’ve never seen so many freedom loving Americans ordering chicken. I have family in Mobile and Texas and they reported record #;s there as well.

No. Ingredients :Chicken (100% natural whole breast filet, seasoning [salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar, spices, paprika], seasoned coater [enriched bleached flour {bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid}, sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, nonfat milk, leavening {baking soda, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate}, spice, soybean oil, color {paprika}], milk wash [water, whole powdered egg and nonfat milk solids], peanut oil [fully refined peanut oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness and dimethylpolysiloxane an anti-foaming agent added]), bun (enriched flour [wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate {Vitamin B1}, riboflavin {Vitamin B2}, folic acid], water, high fructose corn syrup, yeast, contains 2% or less of each of the following: liquid yeast, soybean oil, nonfat milk, salt, wheat gluten, soy flour, dough conditioners [may contain one or more of the following: mono- and diglycerides, calcium and sodium stearoyl lactylates, calcium peroxide], soy flour, amylase, yeast nutrients [monocalcium phosphate, calcium sulfate, ammonium sulfate], calcium propionate added to ****** spoilage, soy lecithin, cornstarch, butter oil [soybean oil, palm kernel oil, soy lecithin, natural and artificial flavor, TBHQ and citric acid

Thanks – I was wondering why I had such a bad migraine last night/this morning. I am allergic to MSG (monosodium glutamate) as are many other people. Hmm – and I want to support Chick-Fil-A, maybe I’ll just have to get the Shakes and fries there.

In D’Iberville, MS the drive thru line went all the way around the building, through the adjacent parking lot and into the street. Wait times inside were up to and over an hour. I am sure we exceeded maximum building occupancy. Shhhh!!! It was a great sight to see that many people standing up for the first amendment right of someone else. I was lucky enough to get prime parking(100 yards from parking lot). I thought I was alone, but this showed me that there might just be a chance for this country to regain the greatness of yesteryear.

You should have been there: Flowood, Ms at 1400hrs. The wife and I drove 40miles in 100 degree weather to do our part at Chick-fil-A. It was a sight to see. A double line of vehicles going to the drive up window; I’m talking side by side and extending out into the mall parking lot. Inside there was a double line of folks going up to the registers to order and both lines extended out the door. There were three local Law Enforcement Officers handling the traffic, as a side note they were doing a fine job and from what I was told they were brought tea, water and soda to keep hydrated; It was hot.
There was an 18 wheeler out behind the store with food being constantly off loaded. The crew was outstanding, busy but outstanding. Though there was a much longer than normal wait to get food, nobody got upset. It was like the 9/12 rally. It is fantastic to see that many people turn out to stand up for one man’s right to express his personal view. I guess that means an awful of us agree with his view. And you know what——-NOTHING WAS FREE!!!!!!

Went to a Chick-Fil-A in Royersford, PA. It was packed out, too. At least 15 through the drive thru. Glad I went. Ordered some food to go for my family, too.

Went to Chick fil la in Temecula line was over 500 at any given time, cars lined up for the drive thru and only 10 protesters with signs, but the people in line prayed for those protesting. Everyone in line was there to Glorify God without any political agenda it was amazing . Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ.

I also also went the chick Fil a in royersford. I waited 20 min in the drive thru. It was very busy. There was also a long line inside. Not one protester. I was in the drive thru line behind someone with a Obama 2012 bumper sticker… I guess they didn’t get the memo

I waited about 10 mins outside the downtown Chicago Chick-Fil-A and then about 10 more mins inside the restaurant. VERY busy and everyone was in good spirits. I even was asked by an AP reporter outside whether I’d like to go on camera to answer some questions – I refused. There were other “news” organizations outside the door filming as well.

There was a gentleman in front of me collecting money to purchase a lunch for the Alderman in Chicago who is blocking the Chick-Fil-A expansion to his neighborhood. His answer to everyone asking why was ‘Return hate with kindness.’ He even said that he never does anything like this and that his wife would kill him if she knew what he was doing. :)

Not good news for America’s First Gay President… especially at the voting booth. This is an issue Democrat “voters” will cross the aisle on.

We were there too! Ballentine, SC. Same story as above, had to park next door and walk. Line out the door, traffic jams in the street! All were friendly, food was fast considering the crowd. Nice to see some say grace before eating. We had chicken, ice cream, and a balloon. Bought gift cards for presents. God Bless ‘em!

Tallahassee, Fla. – “Blue” County: Huge turn-out at all locations of Chick-fil-A today. Once you got through the traffic jam, the service was fast, friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Lady ahead of me in the drive-through had an Obama 2012 bumper sticker on her car, but loaded up eight (8) bags of food at the window. Democrat City Government / Police Chief, should have anticipated the traffic snarl and assigned some Traffic Officers to ALL Chick-fil-A locations for Public Safety, as if they really cared ! Our County just might turn “Red” in November ! @ KMACGINN is right; this should be a monthly affair – How about the first Monday of the month which would also take care of the day before the General Election on Nov. 6 th.

Was at Chic Fil A today in Copley, OH, at 2PM hoping to beat the lunch crowd. What a traffic jam. Had to park a block away in a lot where the restaurant had gone out of business (I guess there must be a lot of those in Chicago). However, the food was excellent, as usual, and the entire affair was awesome and fun. Met many nice people including 3 young men from a summer Bible camp. It was so nice when you realize that there are still more Christian and Constitutional values in our Country – Freedom and Speech and Freedom of Religion. God Bless American!! And that’s why I’m voting for the Christian American.

My mother and I had lunch today at our local Chik-Fil-A. We got there about 11:25 in hopes of avoiding a bit of the lunch rush. We had to park in the adjoining lot that belonged to a nearby Kohl’s and Target. By the time we left, the line of people was wrapped around the dining area and out the dooor. There were 3 separate liness of cars waiting to get in or use the drivee-thrru. The staff rremaineed ammazingly poised despite the onslaught of people. Two of the workkers were pregnant and woorking every bit as hard as the others. They were smiling and friendly.

I was at the Chick Fil A in The Villages at 11:30 and the place was packed and the wait for food was 1/2 hour. There was a long line at the drive in out to the street so they had to have the police reroute traffic. It was worth the wait.

I proudly displayed my Chick-fil-A bag at the Columbia, MD mall food court … and looking around I wasn’t the only one. Chick-fil-A had a HUGE line [actually 6] while the neighboring food court booths were small to none. A good day for Chick-fil-A!

I went to the Chick-Fil-A right in the belly of the beast (CNN Center Food Court in Atlanta) and it was the busiest restaurant there. Probably not worth it for CNN to send a camera crew all the way down a flight of stairs to cover it! No sigh of Anderson Cooper in the line, though…

    Appreciation Day

Midday traffic was backed up along U.S. Highway 64 today as people piled into the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Highlands Square Shopping Center.

Customers were waiting upwards of an hour – and sometimes two hours — to buy chicken sandwiches, as they showed support for the restaurant. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee called for the rally after Chick-fil-A CEO Dan T. Cathy stated he supported the “biblical definition” of marriage.

“There’s no meanness,” said Hendersonville Chick-fil-A patron Carolyn Trapp. “One person shouted apologizing for the wait, and everyone shouted back that ‘it’s fine.’”

Customers remarked on the camaraderie as they waited in line for hours. The line was out the door, and people were parking as far away as Staples.

“Everybody said if they ran out of something, they’d just order something else,” Linda Riddle said.
