Posted on August 1, 2012 at 11:05pmThis is America, standing up for what we believe in. We each have a choice, who do we give our money to? We had better start choosing wisely.
I always look where my food comes from; check the labels you will be surprised, where my clothes come from, etc. I am a more discerning shopper.
I was at a Chic fil a store, I didn’t see anyone judging anyone else. It was people supporting the right of a man in a company to express his opinion. Again that opinion wan’t against anyone person, it was for traditional marriage.
I need these liberals to stop trying to stuff their opinions down my throat. Live your life any way you choose, that’s between you and your maker. Stop judging me if I don’t agree.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 9:01pmSo I went to my local Chik-fil-a expecting kids night & instead waited 45 min for my food. Now I appreciate support of causes & was impressed tonight for all the support this event received. That said, it was hard to believe all the people discussing their views on politics call themselves Christians. I heard judgements on how others live. My faith teaches me that is God’s job. None of us are better than the next person. I just warn how strongly you judge. God always find a way to teach us the lesson that we are no better than our neighbor. I am a middle of the road political viewpoint & tonight was a strike against the right for me. I will continue listening to all viewpoints (fox news, CNN, local news, etc) & make my decision in Nov but I do warn all parties against extreemist views & judgement. We all have to live in the same country & not everyone was lucky enough to find their partner for life at 23 & have the 2.3 kids…many of us are doing the best we can but we are no different than u.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 11:39pmYou suggest that judgmental statements you heard from people discussing their views on politics are a “strike against the right” in your book. I may be wrong, but I find it hard to believe that anything you heard rivaled messages that have flooded Twitter such as, “oh please please let there be a news story about some bible thumper having a heart attack and dying in a chick-fil-a today fingers crossed—.” If a person’s views are so easily swayed by those of others, I would urge him or her to stay home on election day.
Nonetheless, I would rather live in a country in which people are not constantly bombarded with warnings about “extremist views and judgment.” It seems such terms have been appropriated by only one end of the political spectrum — and it’s not those who are “middle of the road” — ironically, it’s those who judge people who dare speak their minds.
