Christie has not been asked to have a ‘personality-ectomy’ for convention keynote

Loud and proud New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is slated to give the keynote speech at the Republican National Convention next week. A CBS affiliate in New York reports that he’s on his seventh draft of the speech and despite the massive audience he’ll be addressing (possibly the biggest for him ever, considering it will likely be broadcast on all network TV stations), he doesn’t plan on pulling any punches.
“I don’t think they have any expectation nor have they requested that I have a personality-ectomy between now and next Tuesday,” Christie said. “They know what they’re buying.”
