Video: Kirk Cameron defends Todd Akin

“I’m the kind of person that believes that I would like to be evaluated by my entire career and my entire life, not two words that I would misspeak and then later apologize for,” the actor-turned-activist told CNN Tuesday. “So he’s [Akin] in a tough spot.”

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

The Republican establishment (yes, that includes Ann Coulter) are being obnoxious twerps with their incessant demands for Todd Akin to quit the Senate race in Missouri. The comments he made are being taken out of context and he has already apologized over the uproar they have caused. Yet many Republicans continue to vilify him.

Todd Akin is a devoted conservative and actually has the resolve and backbone to take on the big issues that many establishment Republicans won’t touch with a ten foot pole. Todd Akin has actually voted against raising the debt limit, while establishment Republicans continue to play “footsie” with Barack Hussein Obama and Harry Reid as the United States tailspins into bankruptcy and economic ruin because of the HUMONGOUS DEBT that many Republicans, like John Boehner, are continuing to justify and perpetuate.

It is utterly reprehensible what many so-called conservatives are trying to do to Todd Akin. Todd Akin has served admirably as a US Representative and has a stalwart conservative record that makes Romney’s record seem pale by comparison.

Mitt Romney and other establishment Republicans are throwing a decent, hard working conservative public servant “under the bus” that seems to be taken straight out of the Democrats underhanded tactical playbook. And they should be ashamed of themselves. Mitt Romney is not even the Republican nominee yet. He has no business telling Todd Akin to step aside and neither does any other Republican.
