Current TV incorporating Twitter in party convention coverageAn AP story in the Washington Post looks at the way TV news outlets plan on using the Internet in their coverage of the Republican and Democratic conventions.

All major news networks plan on live-streaming the events online. CBS will be hosting some specials from the convention exclusively on its website. NBC will be putting up tweets at the bottom of the screen for its TV coverage.

The tweets will take up more screen space than pictures from the convention or commentators like Al Gore.
