The Atlanta Falcons have Samuel L. Jackson, as their mouthpiece. That being the case, I sent a letter to the Falcons org http://www.atlantafalcons.com/ and commented on their actions, and his. It is hard enough being a Falcon fan, to have to deal with this moron as their ‘mascot’ mouthpiece.

Foolish, fooish man. You always think when actors take great rolls, or provide their voice to films on neat things, that they are smart. It’s always sad to find out they aren’t. I wish he could read this blog, I would ask him to look up who really freed black people, and fought for their civil rights. Then I would ask him to look closely at those who keep blacks on the plantations of poverty instead of getting them going in the dignity of work. Then I would ask him how he sees black poor people today and what he proposes to help them have something more than $300.00 tennis shoes and special hair cuts. Why isn’t he fighting for education for those who can’t go to college? Foolish man, you have a lot to answer for.

Tell me, Mr. Jackson, has NOLA learned ANYTHING from Katrina? Have they evacuated residents from the low laying areas? Or did they park the school buses and forbid their use again? Are they going to put all of the “refugees” that refuse to leave in the Superdome again? Didn’t they just finish making the repairs from the LAST time they did that? Has LA created ANY kind of command structure to protect its citizens in the event of another Katrina? Unlike the mayor and Governor when Katrina hit and there was nothing in the way of evacuation and/or protection going on. Finally, Mr. Jackson, there is an old quote from Mark Twain you may wish to consider and follow: “I would rather keep my mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt”. You have removed all doubt.
