Clinton talks about why he wasn’t cut out for Mormonism
After campaigning for President Obama in Miami yesterday Bill Clinton ran into a few reporters as he made his way into a hotel. He talked with them for a bit and offered up his past experiences with the Mormon church.
From Politico:
Clinton — toting a copy of Milica Z. Bookman’s new book about economics in the afterlife, “Do They Take Credit Cards in Heaven?” — spoke of recruiting presentations he’d attended at the local Mormon church while he was growing up in Hot Springs, Ark. Clinton, a Baptist, said he admires the church for its high ethical standards and belief in a celestial kingdom but said the idea of being in a heaven without his non-Mormon friends was too much to give up.
“I didn’t want to leave all these other people behind,” he said.

Posted on September 13, 2012 at 3:27pmI remember flying with the Arkansas Air Guard C-130 crew as Clinton was running for President. I asked if Bill ever flew with them. ‘Ya he and his bimbos have flown with us a dozen times. When he comes to campaign in your town lock up your wife and daughters as he chases them everywhere we take him. We just stay up in our cabin and play our music real loud. With his womanizing behavior he wouldn’t have lasted three months as a Mormon.

Posted on September 12, 2012 at 12:32pmI don’t mean to judge, but . . . don’t worry, Bill. You won’t leave any friends as there is no way you will make it to Heaven. Adulterers and murderers don’t tend to make it there.

Posted on September 12, 2012 at 11:21amWell, either his teachers didn’t cover true doctrine, or more likely Clinton wasn’t paying attention.
We Mormons believe that most people will eventually make it to Heaven, and that we will be sealed together as families eternally.

Posted on September 12, 2012 at 10:48amIf we survive our Muslim in Chief I won’t lose any sleep with a Mormon in the White House any more than a Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, or atheist. All I ask is that they be American. Romney really is smart. So is Ryan. We need proven intelligence running the country. Where I come from a man that can earn $260 million is capable. And he has a reputation of being a very decent man.

Posted on September 12, 2012 at 7:59pmAgreed 100% but isn’t it interesting that Axelrod and Gibbs don’t give it a second thought when tossing an opponent under the bus, whether it be Gov Romney or even the Lord Jesus Christ…seriously. Isn’t that what they’re doing by allowing attack after attack against the Christian faith?

Posted on September 13, 2012 at 4:53amAlso, Romney does not have a messiah complex, that has rarely worked out well for any nation. Obama was.going to stop the rising of the ocean, cut.the national debt in half, and bring the.races together. No evidence on #1 he has almost doubled the debt with nothing to show for money#2 If we get through Jan. 2013 without a racewar I will be AMAZED.#3
No Romney will make a fine President but thank God he is not another messiah.
