Bachmann calls on Obama to cancel Beyonce fundraiser

Speaking at the Values Voter Summit today, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), called on President Obama to cancel his upcoming fundraiser with Beyonce and Jay-Z. Obama should meet with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instead, she said.

Conservatives criticized the Obama administration earlier this week for saying that the president’s schedule doesn’t allow for him to meet with Netanyahu later this month. The prime minister’s office had requested a meeting with Obama.

Obama is scheduled to be on the Late Show and host a fundraiser with performers Beyonce and Jay-Z on Sept. 18

“He should cancel his appearance on Letterman, his meeting with Beyonce, his meeting with Jay-Z,” Bachmann said to applause from the audience.

Other bits from Bachmann’s speech:

–Regarding the GOP’s so-called “war on women,” Bachmann said it “has about as much reliability and truth to it as Bill Clinton’s arithmetic.”

–She said the Obama administration has displayed “weakness and lack of resolve to the world” in wake of the Libya incident.

–She said Democrats had “a little trouble” at the party convention last week acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

–Bachmann refered to U.S. foreign aid to Egypt as a “tax payer gravy train.” (The Obama administration said yesterday it does not plan on suspending aid to Egypt.)

–She said “we lay it on the line” heading into the presidential election. “Barack Obama has been the most dangerous president we’ve ever had…” she said.

–Bachmann closed her speech, saying “God bless us.” A woman in the audience yelled out “God forgive us.”

We have one ally in the Middle East and the President has yet to visit them or give them the same consideration he has to the Muslim Brotherhood. Israel is not popular with his base even though many are Jewish??? The reason is simple–they see them as aggressors and not a displaced race of people who returned to their homeland. Considering what has been perpetrated against the people of Israel over the past forty plus years by Muslim extremists it might be a good idea to continue the relationship.

  That seems to be o teams true respons to everything I DON’T CARE.unless it’s a good photo op like he and hillary had recently then he can put on a great show,if that had been one of my boys returning under are great flag they would not have been allowed within hearing or seeing distance of him.

NOSLAVE: How unhappily true. My best friend and I both agree completely on one thing: “We’re glad we’re old.” How sad is it that this Obama miscreant has been put in power only to abuse it. All of the black people of this Nation should be ashamed that they voted for him. But, it follows an old saying, “You asked for it, you got it, Toyota”. These Dems shouldn’t be mentioning anything about a WarOnWomen(tm) seeing that the only confirmed kill belongs to a Democrat: Teddy Kennedy.

Obama is a muslim. How the f did this terrorist get in office. It wasn’t the people that put him in. It wasn’t the electorate that put him in. It was the corporate elite who decided the world needed to be turned upside down to detract from the obnoxious filth and deceit they wane upon the citizens of the world. The revolutions of september and the weak american mind combine for a volatile atmosphere that will arise out of the ash a more controlled environment and a lot less freedoms for all. Best to wake up and arm yourselves now, because a lock on your door means anarchy to those elitists. Good luck!

  Well, years from now the US will find that Obama was a plant by radical islamist and we will see this story on a show entitled “how I got away with it”. This is the most corrupt administation. I just pray that people will wise up and vote this guy out. How I wish Reagan was here. He was a true leader and I miss him everyday. I felt that he was making sure this country was safe. Obama on the other hand, I trust him about as far as I can throw him.
