Tim Tebow won’t rule out new job in politics

The trouble with professional athletics is that eventually, ever athlete has to retire, usually at a pretty early age. So what do they do for the rest of their lives?

Some start their own businesses. Some play lots and lots of golf. For New York Jets back-up quarterback Tim Tebow, a post-football career in public service isn’t out of the question:

Tim Tebow may one day take his “Wildcat” offense to another field entirely: politics.

The most talked about player in football said in an interview that once he’s done with football he’ll “at least look at and consider one day” a run for office.

“I haven’t ruled it out. Whatever avenue I feel like I can make a difference in, I’d love to do,” the Jets’ backup quarterback told ESPN New York. “I haven’t ruled out anything like that. It won’t be anytime soon in my future, but it’ll be something I’ll at least look at and consider one day.”

So here’s the question: Would you vote for Tebow?

I would vote for him based just upon his values. Hard work, constant desire to learn and understanding there is a Power greater than himself….if his positions flow down from that, he’s got my vote.
