Paul Ryan has some friendly advice for Ron Paul supporters…

An audience member at a campaign rally in Lima, Ohio, yesterday asked Paul Ryan why a *hypothetical* (yeah, right) Ron Paul supporter should vote Romney-Ryan in November. Β ”Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected?” the GOP vice presidential hopeful asked.

Ryan’s response was short and sweet, though flimsy. In essence, a vote for anyone other than Mitt Romney will help to guarantee a second term for Barack Obama. However, Ryan would do well to add at least one thing about seeing eye-to-eye with Ron Paul supporters on some issues. The “lesser of two evils” meme isn’t likely to generate a lot of voter enthusiasm for the GOP. Β Just sayin’…

    Hey, Meredith, Anyone who thinks that Romney is just the lesser of two evils is a moron by definition. If a Paul-bot doesn’t know the difference between Romney and Obama by now, they are a moron, by defnition. Paul Ryan’s answer should wake up to the reality we are facing.

    Obama supporters and Ron Paul supporters have something in common.Both are “cult like”.Except Obama supporters will be out voting in full force while the RP people will most likely either stay home or vote for Gary Johnson.Either way will both be damaging to our country.Mitt Romney has a chance to win.Gary Johnson does NOT.So sure,by all means if you vote for Johnson,or Rosanne Barr,don’t be bitching over another 4 more years of Obama rule and more Socialist crap.

    Hey there Mitt & Paul,

    I have a suggestion for YOU.

    How about taking ol’ Mitt’s rant about the Federal Reserve and publicizing it? How about affirming it, and talking about how bad the Fed is? How about pledging to end the Fed?

    You can talk all you like about how things ARE, but what are YOU proposing to DO about it?

    With Paul and Johnson, at least, we know that they want to introduce competing currencies and wind the Fed down.

    How about y’all?

    Until I hear more, I can’t vote for you guys.

    Then, let’s talk about NDAA, SOPA, TARP, HR347, and the list goes on and on…

    they should realize the Paul supporters are intelligent…

    the lesser of two evils is one of the biggest problems people have with our entire “political system” as it is…this argument won’t sway anyone.

    I really wish there would have been a 3rd party candidate breakthrough
