Debate drumming: 40 hours to go

There are 40 hours between now and the first presidential debate tomorrow night. Here’s today’s first look at what both candidates are saying…

“We had a great prep, and it was a lot of fun. … It’s very nice. Although basically they’re keeping me indoors all the time. It’s a drag. They’re making me do my homework.”– President Obama, speaking with a campaign volunteer over the phone yesterday in Las Vegas.

“There’s going to be all the scoring of winning and losing and, you know, in my view, it’s not so much winning and losing or even the people themselves — the president and myself. It’s about something bigger than that. These debates are an opportunity for each of us to describe the pathway forward for America that we would choose.”– Mitt Romney, campaigning in Denver yesterday.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

A big difference in those two statements right there. I’m excited to watch the debate this week! I wish Governor Romney the very best!
