Al Gore has some competition for worst Obama debate excuse
After would-be president Al Gore proclaimed that the Mile High City’s altitude may have tampered with President Barack Obama’s debating skills, Twitter erupted with other #ObamaDebateExcuses just as plausible. Here’s just a small sampling:

Posted on October 4, 2012 at 11:20pmGore thinks the thin air at the altitude of the debate, 5,280 ft, might have impaired Obamas performance Wednesday night. I searched some aviation sites and found this: “Normal max diff pressure on a B747-400 is 8.60 psi, which at FL 370 [37,000 ft) would give a cabin altitude of around 6,000 ft”.
With all the time he spends on Air Force One (a Boeing 747), Obama should be acclimated to the air at 6,000 ft, a higher altitude than that at which the debate was conducted.
Also, is Gore implying that Romney was smarter than Obama for knowing enough to acclimate to the higher altitude prior to the debate?
