Dan Rather: Romney ‘practically ran Lehrer out of the hall’
On HuffPost Live today former CBS News anchor Dan Rather said Jim Lehrer, who moderated last night’s presidential debate, didn’t have “one of his better nights.”
“Keep in mind the format is dictated in the end by the parties and by the candidates,” Rather said. “They also approve the moderator. But Jim Lehrer last night, he didn’t keep it on time. They ran over. And Romney, I think to his credit, backed him up, backed him down, and practically ran him out of the hall.”

Posted on October 5, 2012 at 9:36amHmmmm…. Let’s see…
First – Obama actually had MORE TIME than Romney (over two minutes… and in a debate, that’s a lot of time)
Second – It was Obama who lied (when Jim Lehrer told him that his time was up) when he said “I still had five seconds left when you interrupted me”, then went on to blather for some time.
Third – When Obama was being soundly trounced, HE begged Jim Lehrer to move on to another topic!
It is painfully obvious that Dan Rather is nothing more then another liberal Obama apologist looking for excuses for Obama’s tragic Debate loss.
