MSNBC contributor calls Fox News ‘white’ television

On BET last night MSNBC contributor Michael Eric Dyson debated the political motivations of black Americans with conservative activist and frequent Fox News guest Jesse Lee Peterson. The discussion quickly spiraled into a heated exchange on racism in politics.

After the panel, Dyson was asked by BET to give his thoughts on what happened. “I’m always open to different viewpoints spoken intelligently, even with a serious kind of vigor but always with honesty,” Dyson said. “What we saw was an honest expression to me of a black self-hatred in action. [Peterson] is a man who believes in going on white television shows, especially Fox [News], parroting the party line that black people are somehow racist.”

Dyson went on to say that it’s not possible for black people to be racist and said Peterson has a “disparaging view of black people.”

Both Dyson and Peterson are black.

What does BET stand for? BLACK Entertainment Television. Now is that not racist? There are no white shows on that station.

Racism is largely self-perpetuated. It will NEVER be eliminated. Why?
Because its a powerful weapon liberals DO NOT want to give up. It keeps
too many people employed and making money —– ie. Sharpton, Jackson,
MSLSD, all progressive media outlets —

So if Fox News is white, then what does that make MSNBC?

Yellow, I believe is the correct answer.

Alfonzo Rachel over at pjtv.com has a great short video commentary in the wake of Whoopi Goldberg’s latest outburst during Ann Coulter’s appearance on The View that addresses this very issue. I, personally, am so tired of those in the black community that are stuck in the past. To Whoopi and others, this is not the America of your grandparents or great-grandparents, and if you’d leave the “Democratic plantation” (salute to Runaway Slave Movie), we (of all races) would welcome you into the 21st century.

What Dyson really means is ” Its impossible for black people to be any more racist than they already are”. Not all blacks but the ones that are are far more so than any white guy I know.
