Read Obama’s pity-inducing post-debate email to supporters

After his lackluster debate performance last night, President Obama took to his campaign email listserv to try and rally supporters to donate more money:

Friend –

I hope I made you proud out there explaining the vision we share for this country.

Now we need to go win this election — the most important thing that will happen tonight is what you do (or don’t do) to help in the little time we have left:

Thank you,

Barack

The message here is clear: The buck stops with you.

The strategy here is even clearer.  By insisting that the most important thing going forward is what his supporters decide to do, Obama quickly abdicates responsibility for his underwhelming debate skills.  The message is meant to induce guilt — If we lose this election, it will be because of you.

I guess I should give the president some credit — I fully anticipated him somehow blaming Bush.

Yea, I saw that photo Michelle standing away from Ob on stage…not a happy camper. Then it occurred to me that this is playing the ‘victim card’: poor, poor pitiful me, that big bad white man beaten’ on the poor mulatto boy……now Plan B begins….

Some men are born to greatness. Others have greatness thrust upon them. Then there is The Orphaned One who is a victim of George Bush and all the white rich nazi bitter clinger Daddy Warbucks. Brilliant. All cards until the election are now rolled in to one: the “victim” card.

This guy self-imploded and then had the ovaries to ask his folks for money! My grandfather always said don’t throw good money after bad–sound advice in this case.

Once again, Obama has failed. Some of our outstanding young Americans that are being negatively effected by Obama’s lack of positive leadership have this to say; from the ” Voices Without a Vote “.
