“A lot of people give Joe Biden grief for some verbal gaffes, but if you go back and look at his debates, he’s always been a solid debater,” A Romney campaign official told the Chicago-Sun Times.

“You know I’d better get started. You just reminded me. No, it’s going well,” Paul Ryan joked to reporters Sunday when asked about preparing for the debate.

“Ryan is going to face pressure to explain some of the dishonest claims he and Romney have been making, especially on things like Medicare, taxes and the auto industry,” Co-Founder of pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Bill Burton told the Denver Post.

“Joe Biden is a gifted orator. He is very good at rhetoric, and I think is he very relatable,” RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said on CNN.
