Titanic confirmation: Selfish Rose killed chivalrous idiot Jack
You know the scene: the Titanic flounders, Rose climbs aboard a floating piece of debris and Jack becomes a man-cicle in the icy waters of the North Atlantic.
Jack’s selfless gesture may have saved first-class Rose’s life, but relinquishing dry real estate on the floating Titanic debris post-sinkage may have needlessly cost the third-class romantic his life. And while “Titanic” director James Cameron has insisted that the star-crossed lovers couldn’t share the makeshift lifeboat, the guys at Mythbusters decided to put his claim to the test this week.
Their findings? Jack’s death was totally preventable.
