HuffPost publishes strange musings by Jamie Lee Curtis

From a column headlined “Liestrong” by actress Jamie Lee Curtis, posted this morning on the Huffington Post:

The candidates [in last night's debate] themselves talked about “that’s a lie” and “look it up.” Look it up where?

Wikipedia? Really? I like PolitiFact.com with their “Liar, liar pants on fire” thermometer of truthfulness. Where else can you get the truth? “You can’t handle the truth!” Thanks Tom, Jack, Rob and Aaron.

Can any of us handle the truth? From the beginning of recorded time people have lied, betrayed loved ones and thrown people under the bus, even if the bus’ wheels were made of stone, just to save the fiction of their story. Would any of us lie to save our skin, family, home, career, election or jersey? Are our heroes really who we think they are or are they a fiction? If they are human, they are flawed and inherently apt to manipulate the truth to get something.

Our elected officials are just that. Elected people with lives and lies and truths and secrets. Be careful with your Twitter pocket full of stones. All our houses are glass, transparent and fragile.

Awe-inspiring.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Just my opinion, but if huff is posting an article like this, then they are trying to soften the blows on barry’s lies, as if to say “it’s ok, we all do it”.

Sorry, ain’t biten. A comment of misinformation (unintentional) is one thing, an outright lie to deceive is quite another, and the liar in our W.H. has been outed.

This is why it is so important for all of us to turn to our Creator. He is the only one who can reveal Absolute Truth. I wrote this poem a couple of years ago when I was struggling with my life. I was experiencing a battle where I felt there was no out. Within my cries, I found peace that only God, the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob could give. Let’s look to Him for truth and pray that our leaders will transmit His truth so that our Nation can heal. I hope you find these words comforting:

    Show Us Your Truth
Oh My God, Hear my Plea,
I feel the Evil One around me
    He has corrupted the righteous
    He has deceived the innocent

How does the Lord stop their lies?
    Silence their arrogance
    Stop their cruelty
    Show your face
Let Your people know that you are all powerful
    Show us Your Truth

I will call Him ABBA, the Father of all Creation.
    I will seek Him
    I will praise Him.
Forever, and all the days of my life.
    (show us your truth)
    AMEN
