You wanna talk about rape? Let’s talk about rape.
Akin, Mourdock, rape, rape, rape.
We all know about Todd Akin’s absurdly stupid comments from earlier this year. Now, the Left is all up in arms over Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock’s “controversial” views expressed during a debate this week. In responding to a question on abortion — specifically whether the practice was acceptable to terminate a pregnancy in a case of rape or incest — Mourdock went where few politicians dare go: his faith.
“Even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that is something that God intended to happen,” Mourdock explained. If you listened carefully, you could hear a million feminists cry out in abject horror.
(Mourdock later attempted to clarify his remarks: ”God does not want rape, and by no means was I suggesting that he does,” Mourdock later tried to clarify. ”Rape is a horrible thing, and for anyone to twist my words otherwise is absurd and sick.”)
What controversy! Mourdock is making the absurd suggestion that God (gulp) creates life. <–When did this become a such controversial opinion? As someone who also subscribes to this nutty idea, I took no real offense to Mourdock’s comments, but the outcry from the Left has been deafening.
President Obama took to “The Tonight Show” to disavow Mourdock’s “controversial” views. ”I don’t know how these guys come up with this idea,” the president said, referring to Mourdock and, apparently, his faith in God (?). ”Let me make a very simple proposition: rape is rape; it is a crime,” the president explained to Jay Leno, lest there be confusion on this point. Obama went on to use the Republican rape gaffe ju jour to attack the notion of “politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women’s health care decisions.”
I don’t want politicians making decisions about my health care, either. Yet I still agree with Mourdock — life is created by God and the means by which that life is created does not detract from its ultimate sanctity.
Obama’s comments, however, did not surprise me. The president has demonstrated time and again that he’ll do and say lots of things to get reelected. Take, for instance, his appearance today on MTV. Despite his clear opinions on rape and how wrong it is, he doesn’t seem to mind ignoring such serious issues when it benefits him.
In the same week the President Obama invites MTV into the White House for a live interview, the cable television channel made an out-of-court settlement in a lawsuit brought by one of its reality stars, Tonya Cooley of Real World/Road Rules Challenge. According to the complaint, Cooley says was raped by her castmates while MTV producers stood idly by and film crew kept cameras rolling. Earlier this year, MTV’s parent company responded to Cooley’s lawsuit — not by denying the accusations, but by basically saying she had it coming:
“[Cooley] failed to avoid the injuries of which she complains. [She] was frequently intoxicated, rowdy, combative, flirtatious and on multiple occasions intentionally exposed her bare breasts and genitalia to other contestants.”
Here’s more:
In the complaint filed on October 27, 2011—which names MTV, Bunim-Murray Productions, and The Challenge castmates Kenneth Santucci and Evan Starkman—Cooley alleged she was a victim of sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and sexual battery. According to the complaint, Santucci and Starkman “took another male participant’s toothbrush and rubbed the toothbrush around [Cooley]‘s genitals, including rubbing her labia and inserting the toothbrush into plaintiff’s vagina” while she was passed out drunk. She says that producers were aware of what happened and more than likely watched it on monitors while it was going on. But they did not stop it, nor did they reprimand Santucci or Starkman. They did, however, replace the toothbrush. They never informed Cooley of what happened. She reportedly learned about the incident after the fact from other female cast members.
And this isn’t the first time MTV has been accused of such things. During the filming of another season of “The Real World” in 2004, a 22-year-old woman claimed she had been raped after being roofied by a castmate’s guest. The cameras rolled as she later woke up naked, lying on the bathroom floor and one of her female roommates informed her that she may have been sexually assaulted. The police were called to the scene, but a lawyer for MTV stepped in and refused to let the police search the premises.
Now I will not make judgments about MTV or her parent companies. Rather, I’d just like to throw this question out there for people to ponder: Is such a place really appropriate for a president of the United States to visit, let alone one who prides himself for being a champion of women??
There is no dignity in this.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 1:52amAs Woopie Goldburg would say” Theres Rape. Then theres RAPE.” Maybe When the Muslim in Chief is schmoozing with Clinton next week, he can get some pointers on the best tactics for raping women.
I will never forget Clintons rape trial. The victim was about to tell the judge and jury a damning bit of information that would prove that she had indeed seen Clintons male organ. The judge immediately stopped the proceedings. It was discovered that Clinton had peyronies. It was all over the news that weekend. On Monday when the trial resumed, the victim testified that Clinton had peyronies. The responsce from the defense? “Thats common knowledge”
Obama needs pointers on rape, He’ll be with a great teacher on the campaign trail next week.

Posted on October 28, 2012 at 10:42pmi have yet to see a pro choicer post any intelligent, relevant, or even coherent view on abortion. most pro choice opinions that i have read are misinformed, selfish reasons to promote the murder of unborn innocents. immoral and evil , and a product of the times we live in. im not so naive as to think my opinions can change anything, but i do know the difference between right and wrong. and abortion is wrong. dora gas bag, i would suggest that if you cant find something to say that makes you look like less of an idiot, then keep your stupid mouth shut.

Posted on October 28, 2012 at 10:42pmBill Clinton has always maintained, as a ‘feminist’, that abortion should remain an option for the good of women who have been victimized by men. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know…

Posted on October 28, 2012 at 5:17pmIt was a poor choice of words. If you read what he said, it is offensive. But if you know anything about Christianity, you know that what I think he meant to say was that God can take a horrible and incident and bring something good from it. Not that God condone’s or intends rape to occur. In fact, if you read or hear the stories of people that have NDE’s, (Near Death Experiences), they say that we are just spirtual beings having a human experience and we pick our own lessons that we want to learn when we come here. People get their panties in a wad over this crap, and let things like Benghazi slip by. It is distract, distract, distract.
And I actually agreed with the Akin. Even when I went to Nursing School, we were taught this. When he says legitmate rape, he means forced, not statutory, nor unconscious rape. Forced rape combines not only physical but emotional trauma, all which can prevent a pregnancy as well as cause a spontaneous abortion. If you don’t believe me ask the many women trying to get pregnant that are under stress. It greatly reduces their chances. And he said it was based on his understanding from doctors, again people getting their panties in a wad without thinking things through.
But, it still needs remain an option for the woman to abort. http://www.consciousparentingguide.com/PREGNANCY_files/Stress%20%26%20Pregnancy,%20Fetal%20Affects,%20on%20MedicineNet.com.pdf

Posted on October 28, 2012 at 6:41pmRight.
Go to Europe. Be a woman who choses to have kids instead of career. The “feminists” will tear you to shreds for that decision.
Also, if you argue that Republicans want to control women’s bodies, then I say you like killing babies. And far closer to the truth than a million stormtroopers like you will ever be.
A fetus is a human being. It’s alive, proven by its growth and multiplying cells. It’s human, proven by its DNA. Some may say it’s not self aware, but that is irrelevant. There is no scientific proof that any of us is actually self aware either. Sure, maybe we are self aware, but maybe it’s just a really highly developed program running on our hard drives. So everything points towards the fetus being a **** sapiens sapiens and with that science is clear. Your whine won’t help you.
PS, when you say fetuses have no rights, what do you base that on? Can’t be the life or DNA, so it has to be the self awareness. So by your logic, any person with a lack of mental development falls under having no rights either. And that means we can kill them too. Oh wait, we’ve been there, a couple of decades ago in a country called Germany.
PPS: if a mother has the right to kill her child, then I have the right to kill anyone I run into.

Posted on October 27, 2012 at 5:35amAMEN!!! I have always came across those who use rape or incest as an excuse for keeping casual abortions legal. It’s disgusting, I have left many a speechless when I asked, “Why would you kill an unborn child, who really had nothing to do with the rape or incest, as a punishment for the rapist? Do you not think that full prosecution under law of the rapist is enough? Why punish the unborn child?”
My father was the 7th child of a prostitute and my natural grandmother could have had my dad aborted easily. Thank God she didn’t! My dad grew up to be a wonderful Evangelist until his passing in 2005.

Posted on October 26, 2012 at 8:14pmThe Governor said in his ‘big speech’ today ‘I know what it takes to lead, I am a leader.
How silly..
The Governor has NOTHING to say to concerned women. The Governor has shown us time and time again what kind of leader he would be when the going get’s tough.EVERY TIME there seems to be an issue that is ‘hard’, he avoids it like the plague. His mode of operation seems to be that if he just avoids anything ‘tough’ people just give up and move on to something else. That is not leadership, that is extremely weak and spineless.
Mr Mourdock is a man Governor Romney ENDORSED this week for high office and will certainly oversee women’s health legislation at some point and NOW Governor Romney has ‘no comment’.
‘Gods Will’ has NO place in the same sentiment as ‘rape’. Not even in some abstract Lenny Bruce joke.
My boy just returned in August from whatever it is they are still doing in Iraq, and we SEND kids overseas to combat extremism brought around by the ‘Gods will’ mentality. It has ZERO place here at home in the US Government.Governor Romney is a disaster, you can not like the President, but at least he takes stands and you know where he stands on stuff like this.
The Governor is acting like a pathetically weak and spineless chicken. Expect for Governor Romney to continue him to exhibit ZERO leadership when it is needed.

Posted on October 27, 2012 at 3:35amDora, why should women have any rights either while adult, if they do not when an unborn baby? You’re arguing against the rights of females to live — yes, half of babies are female. Essentially, you’re arguing it’s okay to kill women. You’re arbitrarily deciding who gets rights and who doesn’t — isn’t this the same thing rapists do? They arbitrarily decide that women DON’T have rights.
Instead of trying to find ways to kill humans, we should be looking for other options, like advancing transplant technology for one… and providing better information for another so that women who are raped know that the baby inside them is human. Committing another sin — murder — does not cure the earlier sin of rape. Indeed, it only gives guilt to the mother and likely depression as a result, where previously she was innocent.
I agree that women who are raped should not have to carry their baby to term. I can understand why that must be very traumatic. But the only alternative should be more advanced transplants or something, because the rights of the human who is their baby must be considered as well.
Any arbitrary standard for when a person gets rights or is considered human is a slippery slope and therefore wrong. Individual human life begins at conception. That is fact.

Posted on October 28, 2012 at 6:43pmHey Dora, so you punish the future human, who is 100% innocent, with death, while the rapist, in today’s “humane penal systems”, gets catered to and maybe even leave from prison (happens in some EUSSR countries already)?
Yeah, that sounds like justice. Not. Also sounds perfectly logic. Not. Makes a lot of sense. Not.
