Mitt Romney has scored the “endorsement” of Hollywood director Joss Whedon who says the former Massachusetts governor would “bring on the zombie apocalypse.”
“Mitt’s not afraid to face a ravening grasping hoard of subhumans — because that’s how he sees poor people already,” Whedon explains in his tongue-in-cheek video endorsement of Mitt “Zomney.”
Yes, folks, it’s apparently come to this:

Oct. 29, 2012 at 8:48pmI really loved Firefly.
I lost a lot of respect for you Joss Wheadon.
You should have stuck to making cool movies and television.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up — now I can avoid spending any of my family’s entertianiment dollar on your stuff anymore.
Have fun supporting the destruction of America.
Signed: A previous fan of Joss Wheadon

Oct. 30, 2012 at 7:11pmSeriously? Is that how you view people, as mere pawns for your political ideals? I mean, yeah, he has a different political standpoint than you do. That’s no reason to completely disregard everything he has done. Have you ever considered the possibility that the reason why conservatives have such a bad rep with liberals is because conservatives remove the very notion of discourse to solve political disagreements? If someone is a liberal, most conservatives (at least the ones I know) will automatically paint that person as a giant sore that should have absolutely no say in anything. Do you understand that there is a difference between “I don’t share your opinions because I don’t think you are thinking rationally, so let’s discuss further and see if we can bridge the gaps between our ideologies” and “I don’t share your opinions, so I’m going to disregard what you say in order for my ideology to remain unchanged by viewpoints I don’t agree with the instant I hear them”? And let me make this clear: libs can be just as bad as conservatives when it comes to shutting down discourse. You can’t pull the ol’ “Libs do that also, so we’re justified” trick on me. No man is an island. In order for society, in general, to prosper, we need to interact with who we disagree with to come up with solutions we all, liberals and conservatives, can benefit from.

Oct. 29, 2012 at 4:28pmYeah…Beware of the Voting Dead…cuz the Democrats are Necromancers & Warlocks.
Don’t worry. If you become a zombie, the Mormons will save you from Hell by performing a proxy baptism on your behalf in the baptismal font…which is pretty much a gigantic bitter cup that Jesus gets to drink. :)

Oct. 29, 2012 at 1:42pmHis name is Joss Whedon, not Hollywood. He doesn’t speak for “Hollywood”, which I assume is how you refer to the film industry. He is voicing his own opinion. Why are you against people voicing their opinions when they are against your own?

Oct. 29, 2012 at 12:33pmI honestly dont understand this. Joss Whedon writes like a conservative but is a liberal? Does he not understand his writing contradicts his viewpoint?

Oct. 29, 2012 at 3:29pmJosh is many things, but conservative is not one of them. He is very creative, and very talented, but he is also very much a liberal Democrat.
I love his work, but his politics leave much to be desired.
