John Sununu: ‘Race-baiter in chief’

Institute for Advanced Journalism Studies Director DeWayne Wickham writes on John Sununu in USA Today:

He’s now the co-chair and race-baiter in chief of Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign — and, unintentionally, a lightning rod for getting blacks to the polls. …

Sununu is well-known for taking racial potshots at Obama, the nation’s first black president. During a recent appearance on Fox News, he called Obama “lazy,” an oft-used attack on blacks. And in a conference call with reporters, Sununu said he wished Obama “would learn how to be an American,” words that pander to the debunked charge that Obama was born in Africa. …

But just as Obama won the presidency four years ago with only 43% of the white vote — along with the overwhelming support of blacks and two-thirds of Hispanics and Asian voters — he can retain the White House with the backing of less than a majority of white voters.

Obama is a victim, a professional victim, who has the mindset and mentality of a victim. Even though he holds the most influential and powerful position in the world, he is ineffective in finding solutions because he believes deep in his heart he has not power to change anything. To prove his point he has to find other victims, even if he has to create them. In doing so he is divisive, creating situations where there are none. Review what he says in his autobiography; look at his blaming anyone and everyone for his failures. As a community organizer he has license to create victims and point out to those he feels have power to make the changes he feels should be made.
A victim gives up his/her ability to change their situation, as they put their fate in someone else’s hands. They protest, they scream, they cry, they lash out, just to bring their victimization to the attention of those who have the power. It is passive-aggressive behavior, which doesn’t have solutions, and no way of doing more than focusing on what is wrong and how they, as the victim, are different and have been singled out by those in real power and oppressed.
Obama will never be able to do anything but point out his feelings of how he has been wronged, and point out to others ways they are victims also. He is deaf, dumb, and blind to any real solutions and self-empowerment, or giving others a sense of empowerment over their situation. In many ways he has gripped this country in his failure me
