And now, a special message for all the Ron Paul/Gary Johnson voters out there
If you or someone you know plans on protest-voting for Gary Johnson, writing in Ron Paul or not voting at all, my friend Bill Whittle has a message for you:

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 4:16pmthe 5% solution… if you live in a state where your vote wont count (any uncontested state) regardless of whether you like Romney obummer then you should vote Gary Johnson. if he can get 5% or more of the vote they can get financing and debate time in the next election,… face it the two party system is broken! they support the same agenda with minor differences.
in red and blue states your vote doesn’t count and a vote for getting alternatives views heard and debated is the only vote that will count….
if you live in a close/contested state vote Romney to get better judges nominated. it is one of the few important differences between them..

Posted on November 3, 2012 at 9:26amBill Whittle makes a less than compelling argument on most every point…
For instance:
1. ObamaCare……well, what about Romney/Teddy KennedyCare??: April 12, 2006: “Romney-Kennedy Health Care Bill Signing”
2. Benghazi…..well, remember how Romney has recently insisted that heavy weapons should be provided to the Syrian (jihadist) rebels that are attempting to overthrow Bashar al-Assad?:
http://www.businessinsider.com/romney-wants-to-arm-the-syrian-rebels-2012-10
It’s become abundantly clear that we need more competition in our elections because competition is the natural enemy of monopolies (which is what the consolidation of the Republican and Democratic parties has now become).
If anything, Whittle continues to use the tired old “anybody but Obama” argument, but I have been hearing this same argument time and again since Ronald Reagan left office….
If you’re really that passionate Mr. Whittle, then you should do everything possible to promote as much additional competition in our political system as we currently have in our choice of restaurants, cell phones, refrigerators, automobiles, TV sets, etc. because when you limit yourself to the fewest number of choices (i.e. Republicans and Democrats) then this traditionally leads to poor quality products at the highest prices possible.
So do yourself a favor this year by casting a vote for additional competition in our elections.

Posted on November 3, 2012 at 7:13amI’m either Johnson or abstaining. Write-ins won’t be counted in my state.
This isn’t a “mugging assault”, this is a mass suicide. Voters are encouraged to vote when the Romney policies are still just as guilty for putting us into this fiscal mess. Paul Ryan’s plan is a lovechild of the Clintonian socialist ideas of the 90s, and not to mention this principled conservative BEGGED Nancy Pelosi for TARP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RyJBZYz858M
Paul Ryan abandons his Randian roots (why he thinks following in Hoover’s footsteps is a good idea escapes me), Romney promises to replace Obamacare (I remember that Tea Party platform… right?) and tours the country with his top big government progressive friends and ’08 opponents like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Rudy Giuliani, Chris Christie and conservative icons who have all reversed their positions on key issues, Ex-con(servative)s, abandons silences and locks out members connected to the Tea Party like Paul and even Palin for heaven’s sake, and the Tea Party has gone leftwards with Gingrich fever. His so called balanced budget requires faith not just for 4 years but 20, all while promising to “make China play fair with their currency” when we don’t even ‘play fair’ with our own Federal Reserve. The GOP, and you Bill, don’t understand that economic manipulation of any kind NEVER WORKS. My vote will not change that, and that is only where my fiscal principles are.

Posted on November 3, 2012 at 2:43amOk, Ok, I get it. Obama is assaulting/robbing a guy, right? Romney happens to see the assault happening, Romney then joins in the assault/robbing. Each get their shot at the gravy train, yeyyyyyyyy democracy.

Posted on November 3, 2012 at 2:24amIt isn’t a protest vote to want our own party to have the same ballot access and funding as the crooks in the GOP. The GOP leadership are horrible monsters no better than the DNC. BTW ever find those trucks carrying votes from Aimes, yet? Anyone even seen a police report for these stolen trucks? The GOP can suck it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydJAAtVOGJc

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 11:39pmIt is amazing how people try to sell their perspective as the only way to look at something. Thanks, Bill Whittle, for nothing. My perspective, unconstitutional is unconstitutional. Further, my perspective again, the tyranny this nations faces finds no hope for a solution through its national electoral process. That process is completely compromised. State sovereignty and nullification may be our best hope.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 10:40pmFunny how people present their opinion as fact. Thanks, Bill Whittle…for nothing. Unconstitutional is unconstitutional. Any solution to the tyranny we face, I believe, is not to be found in the national electoral process. State sovereignty might just be our only hope.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 10:23pmFACT: Romney or Obama WILL be the next president.
Fact he forgot to mention: … but there’s only one winner: government.
The notion that people don’t vote because they don’t support a candidate, is silly. I don’t vote, because I don’t support THE SYSTEM. I refuse to be party to a system that forces slavery to the state. Perpetuating a system of awfulness, now THATS true ignorance and selfishness.
No thank you.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 10:13pmYou don’t get it. After all of the Romney campaign and GOP’s blatant corrupt cheating, it is called BLOWBACK. Most of us WANT Obummer to win, just to show those pigs there are repercussions to their dishonest actions. Karma. What goes around comes around. To make it even sweeter, I hope the Dems rig the voting machines just like the GOP did. Most of us would rather have 4 years of Obummer than a possible 8 of Willard The Pig.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 9:35pmRon Paul, and other third party supporters don’t see a lick of difference between Obamney. Nothing that is important to we principled conservatives will change under either of them. Just like the new iPhone 5, Tyranny comes in two colors this year.
After witnessing the Romney/GOP machine’s disenfranchisement, cheating, arresting, and literal breaking of bones – it’s clear to me our election system is a joke. A horrible joke aided by our Media. Now, after you’ve beaten us up, you want us to vote for you? And you’re trying to Shame us into it? Up yours Mr. Whittle, you whiny little statist! I don’t vote for Evil.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 6:30pmRomney will lose, your way will lose and when you can’t find out why, you will come to us for answers, we simply don’t care for the small differences either because we know the election is not the only way to get someone who is so bad out. We also know its rigged and fake. the direction were going will result in a monetary collapse which results in a revolution and replacement of goverment. that is what matters in the end, not puppet 1 or puppet 2. If you really stick with those principles than that is what you should focus on not some computer programmed election.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 7:24pmOh please, stop playing God as if you have all of the answers and somehow everyone will flock to Ron Paul and bow down to him. Go ahead and vote for Gary or Ron, it only shows your selfishness and ignorance. And after the election, no matter even if Obama wins, will anyone give a flying crap that Gary Johnson got so many votes. You sir, are delusional.
Now Meridith, put this out on the front page.

*yawn* Of course you would fall back to name calling and finger pointing, instead of using your big boy words to express anything cognitive or intelligent.
If we were Obama supporters, we would just vote for him. If you truly believe this, then you should thank us for NOT voting for him, by voting third party or not voting at all.
First to be eaten? You’re a typical rank and file republican statist… you wouldn’t make it a minute, without having a government there to tell you what to do. I wish you all the luck in the world against the informed. You’re going to need it.
