Gridlock: Harry Reid says he’ll refuse to work with Mitt Romney
Despite President Obama’s insistance that working with Republicans on Capitol Hill will be job No. 1 during a second term, fellow Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid is flat-out refusing to work with Mitt Romney if he’s elected president. Can you feel the bipartisan love?
“Mitt Romney’s fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his ‘severely conservative’ agenda is laughable,” Mr. Reid said in a statement on Friday, trying to puncture Mr. Romney’s closing election argument that he’ll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship President Obama promised in 2008 but has struggled to live up to.
Yes, he’s talking about the Mitt Romney who is apparently so “severely conservative” that he was elected governor of Massachusetts — clearly a hotbed for conservative activism masquerading as a blue state, or something.
“Mitt Romney has demonstrated that he lacks the courage to stand up to the tea party, kowtowing to their demands time and again. There is nothing in Mitt Romney’s record to suggest he would act any differently as president,” Mr. Reid said.
This statement really makes you wonder if Harry Reid has even looked at Mitt Romney’s record. Â As governor in Massachusetts, he worked with a legislature that was predominantly Democratic, and yet they still managed to get things done. Â Imagine that — bipartisan cooperation. Â It’s a lost concept lost on progressive Democrats who have been running the show in Washington for the last 4+ years.

AGREE!
Last time NEVADA found Democrats with voting machines in their trunks as well!
Election Commissioners are mostly appointed by Governors–
ours is here
and he says you can make voting machines COUNT anyway you tell them to…
Candidate A gets 3 votes but counted as only 1 vote for A and changes 2 votes to Candidate B.
REMEMBER former Senator Chuck Hagel (R) has been in WH working for
Oblamo …
Hagel is now endorsing a DEMOCRAT running for Senate in NEBRASKA!
Hagel’s owner/investor in company that does 60% of voting machines in the USA.
So now you know how DIRTY HARRY ….Really won.

Posted on November 3, 2012 at 3:17amI believe the coat tails from the huge Romney turnout could do the trick. Even if Romney had a 70 point lead you must get everyone you can for the local and State offices. A lot of the leftwingnut fraud is targeted specifically at their ‘local’ breeding grounds.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 4:21pmThis is point to many are missing. The senate is going to be a tough get, especially with the GOP gaffe machine in full operation like in Missouri. People need to look at the bigger and all important picture. Will some people have to hold their nose to pull the GOP senate lever Tuesday…YES. If you don’t like the GOP senator you are stuck voting for then replace them in the next primary. Today however, the choice is not between them and their democrat rival but, between them and Harry Reid. It is no longer just a theory, Reid himself has now said if we don’t take the senate he will do exactly what he has done for two years, NOT LET ANY GOP LEGISLATION GET TO THE FLOOR. So it’s up to you. You can proudly hold your head high and say “I didn’t vote for the dope who made the horribly worded rape pregnancy statement” and allow Reid to continue the progressive agenda. Or you can say “I helped stop Reid and the progressive machine.” Your choice.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 3:43pmGee,
Now i’ll have to worry that Lil Harry’s gonna keep everything from gettin’ done?
oh boo hoo hooo.
Can’t we just get the important NEW leaders to talk over the little short troll so he just hops up and down like one of those shrunk down lil ants in a daffy duck cartoon?
I think we should start calling ‘ol Harry “squeeky”….
Please Harry……
you only continue to make a spectacle of yourself –
You’ve become irrellevant….
that knowledge will catch up to you shortly.
In the meantime,
we still keep you in our prayers….
Be Bless’d in Yeshua!

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 3:40pmReid assumes he will still be Senate Majority Leader.
Even if he is, I welcome stalemate. That means smaller government!
And my bet is that Romney will say, “No budget, no spending. Nada. Nothing. Zilch.”

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 2:49pmAll Harry Reid has done is shelve bills in the Senate and then play the blame game. Reid is nothing more than a divisive human being. Maybe it’s time for him to go in 2016, what is wrong with Nevadians voting for this puke.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 2:49pmOH, PLEASE DON’T GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT, HARRY ! Now you and Nancy Piglosi can take that long planned vacation you’ve wished for. Your help just won’t be needed. Thanks to MITT ROMNEY and PAUL RYAN the American People are going to get some PATRIOTS in office and America will be saved – taken off the dastardly path that you, Piglosi and that Communist/Marxist/Muslim Trojan Horse Socialist tried to drag us (USA) on. BUH BYE! Don’t let the door hit you on the way out…but don’t take the silver like Hillary did….You still have 2 more years – so you can sit there and what to see HOW YOUR JOB SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE.

Posted on November 2, 2012 at 4:20pmi’m somewhat surprised you were able to get through to his office. Generally speaking, when something is controversial on the table, phone lines are “busy.”
For the life of me, I can’t understand how the people of Nevada re-elected him…. Goes to show you as long as their (the Nevadians) stuff isn’t taken from them (as in those in the NJ/NY area with Sandy), they’re good with “things” in the desert.
