Is the U.S. headed down a spiritual ‘path of destruction’?
Christian evangelist Franklin Graham — son of famed evangelist Billy Graham — commented Wednesday that, spiritually speaking, Tuesday’s election results are only sending America further down a “path of destruction”:
“Unless we’re willing to repent for our sins, we will stand in his judgment,” Graham said Wednesday, shortly after leaving a birthday party for his father, evangelist Billy Graham, in Montreat, N.C.
“I want to warn America: God is coming around. He will judge sin, and it won’t be pretty.”
In particular, Graham was referring to the re-election of Obama, a man he has accused of “waving his fist before God” by supporting abortion rights and same-sex marriage. Voters in four states Tuesday either passed laws legalizing gay unions or blocked moves to further restrict it. [...]
Graham supported Republican Mitt Romney for president. Had the former Massachusetts governor won Tuesday, “the secularization of America would not have stopped, but I think it would have slowed down a little bit,” Graham said. “Many Christians are very concerned about the country’s moral decline, particularly the president’s position on same-sex marriage.”
The threat to the country is clear, he said.
“We have God’s blessing as a nation. Scripture is clear. God blesses countries, but God also brings bedlam when countries turn their back on him. If we don’t obey his laws, He will withdraw his hand of protection.”

Posted on November 9, 2012 at 10:18amI heard messages from David Pawson about Islam and he predicted Islam will be a threat to the west during 70, but no one took his warning seriously. During a sermon in 2002, he predicted England will be a nation of Islam. Now it is coming to all of us soon or later.

Posted on November 9, 2012 at 8:20amJust like the ancient jews of Israel and judah God has warned us repeatedly yet we have turned our backs on Him.
Obama is only a small piece of the coming wrath. It is not just the USA but the world, especially the western developed world.
I pray for my grandchildren.

Posted on November 9, 2012 at 12:12amShortly after 9/11 I was in my father’s office. The tv had a photo op of congress getting together to pray. One of his older customer’s calmly chimed in. “Look at those frightened cowards….the very same bas tards that took prayer out of our schools are on their knees looking for some sort of repentance.” Stong faith is what humbles you. What bothers me about atheist/science/nature types is that they look at a storm like Sandy and believe we caused it. Completely withdrawing any consideration that there are some things we can’t control. If a meteor hit the earth would it be our fault as well? They are so quick to overlook how people come together to help each other overcome the situation because they have no faith in anything really. Not even their fellow man. They only look to blame and then try and propell themselves to some sort of lofty perch. Every meteorologist said Sandy was a long time a coming. Yet there were the global warming alarmist looking to position the stupid masses in the face of adversity. Just send more tax dollars and they”ll fix it. This sort of thing ruins pure science.

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 11:55pmDavid Yeagley, a hard-core Indian conservative wrote the following obituary for the nation. It’s sad and angry and moving and frightening and I thought I would share it.

The Republicans have campaigned not on morality, but on prosperity. It was money over morality. Conservatives agreed. And so the America you once loved is no longer. The country you believed in, lived for, and
loved everything about, has passed into history. Let me be the first to welcome you all to Indian Country!
Indians know what it’s like to live in the past. Now you American patriots will know. You’re on an ideological reservation now, and soon, perhaps, you’ll be on an economic–or even geographic reservation.
If the Republicans erred, it was in their failure to emphasize the basic moral issues of the country. They left the door to moral abandonment wide open when they allowed an alien free access to American political life–even to the White House. No one has pursued the truth, not sufficiently, and a alien, lying anti-American has been given free reign to wreck the country. More than half the people loved him.
The Republicans allowed crime after crime to go unpunished, since the Clintons. Ultimately, a lying murderer occupies the Oval Office.
But, rather than having the courage to call out sin by its name, the Republicans chose to talk about the economy. That was the most important issue. And Conservatives apparently agreed. That was safe. That was

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 10:11pmWhen everything is circling the drain is not a good time to decide to humble yourself. Our leaders are concerned with one thing–their next election! Having said that I think it is not a matter of God’s punishment–I believe it is more a matter of withholding His blessing! Why would he bless a country that spits in his face by refusing even to acknowledge he played a major role in the formation of our republic. BTW ask anyone if we are a democracy or republic and most will give you the wrong answer–we are a republic all you King Barry voters!

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 7:50pmSadly, this attitude of the Christian Faith is just one of the “Conservative” Christian values that need to change. (just as Sharia must change) The youth like the Charity of the Christ, not the laws of the church. What are the great sins of marihuana vs. Bud Light? Our physical beings should be cherished but should we not allow the freedom to chose your level of comfort? There may be hard line Christian Orthodox Zealots but will there not always be depravity worse than most American can imagine. Maybe a more “Childlike” Faith would be more attractive.

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 6:39pmOk, Franklin Graham, I believe you are mostly correct! Sandy just did not happen, neither did Katrina, neither did the tornadoes over Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and other places. God sent because of the leadership, or lack of coming out of DC.
I am guessing God may be preparing USA for the Biggy? Obama may have been selected to carry out this downfall?

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 5:48pmHow soon people forget that the Graham power hungry alarmists were against Romney because he is a Mormon when he was trying to get the Republican nomination. Then suddenly, they support him when he wins the election. Keep drinking the cool aide folks. Your party is out of touch, and filled with hate and fear. Those are not Christian values.
