Justice Roberts named ‘liberal man of the year’
For voting to uphold Obamacare as law back in June, the Wall Street Journal names Justice Roberts (generally viewed as conservative) as “liberal man of the year“:
The editors of Esquire have included Chief Justice Roberts in their December “Americans of the Year” issue, praising his “nimbleness.” After the Citizens United decision on free speech and political spending, he found a way “to save the court’s credibility.”
Chief Justice Roberts shares the Esquire honor with Lena Dunham, the star of an Obama campaign ad and the creator and star of the HBO series about 20-something sexual angst called “Girls.” …
Such is the strange new respect a conservative receives for sustaining liberal priorities. Our own view is less effusive, and to expiate his ObamaCare legal sins, a fair punishment would be that he hire Ms. Dunham as a clerk.
“Liberal man of the year” isn’t a label WSJ has slapped on anyone else prior to Roberts.

Posted on November 20, 2012 at 10:57pmI hear a great deal of bitterness here, loosing the election must have been a bummer for you guys. Just get over it and get with the program, you bunch of losers… Looks like The Affordable Health Care Act is the “law of the land” and there is absolutely nothing that you can do about that… Just shut up and go back to your minimum wage jobs, digging ditches or whatever it is that you pathetic idiots do and be glad that you will be able to get health care if you cut your foot off with your shovel…..

The award should be: “Traitor to the Constitution” which John Roberts deserves as an epitaph.

Posted on November 20, 2012 at 1:22pmI guess WSJ doesn’t have an ‘******* of the year’ category. Too bad for Roberts. He’d be a shoe in (pun intended).

Posted on November 20, 2012 at 11:49amI’ll bet Chief Justice Roberts is just giddy with excitement, too! That man is a complete disappointment. Ann Coulter TRIED to warn us all way back before Roberts had even begun his confirmation hearings. She said, “What do we know about him? Nothing. So why is everyone on the bandwagon for him?” (paraphrased). She was right. I was wrong. I was one of the one’s who thought he was a strong Conservative. Wow, what an education I’ve had since then. Big mistake. BIIIIIGGGGG mistake – and now we’re paying for it – and the Progressives/Liberals/Democrats are happy as a clam. OMG. We need a big, super-size crystal ball to see into these people’s minds before we give them the jobs.

Posted on November 20, 2012 at 9:42amI have no respect for him as a SC judge but I wonder if he wasn’t blackmailed into supporting Obamacare as that is how the Chicago gangster, mafia works. Petareus was worked over and not just by Broadwell.
