Have you cast your ballot for which turkey should get a Thanksgiving pardon from the president this year?
Meet the contenders: Cobbler vs. Gobbler.
You have until 2:00 p.m. today to cast your vote before President Obama pardons the winning turkey in the annual ceremony at the White House. (I could make a crack here about how Obama can’t even make a decision on pardoning a turkey without polling the public first, but in the spirit of the holiday, I’ll abstain. Sort of.)
After today’s pardoning ceremony, both turkeys will travel to George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate where they will live out the rest of their natural(ly boring) lives. For a complete history of presidential turkey pardoning, click here.
